WOW it works right out of the box.
Very easy to set up, now I have bluetooth connection with my TV, stereo, and even my MP3 player with great sound in all the house and outdoors on the patio. I couldn't be more pleased.

Surprising quality
I really like the fact that this came with every cable you would need. I purchased it to use as a transmitter and it has so far worked great. Range is much better than the range I was getting on my laptop. The buttons are responsive and the manual was easy to understand. Very impressed so far.

Not a Good Buy
Instruction booklet is terrible. Pairing is difficult. Had to use computer headphone jack to make it work. That limits the volume I could get from my bluetooth speakers. All I wanted was to extend my computer's bluetooth range which with a great deal of difficulty I was able to do. BUT, because I had to resort to the headphone jack, it thinks I'm using headphones and seriously limits volume. Really not a good buy.

Don't waste your money!
This item was unusable. The directions were clear as mud and there was no tech support. A complete waste of money.

Connects easily most of the time.
Has a good bit of background noise at times, when you turn the volume up, I have tinnitus in both ears, so I have to turn it up to hear, but when the background noise quiets down, it is very clear. Even with the background noise I can still hear fairly well. On the rare times when it doesn't want to connect right away, just go through the modes and when you come back around it connects fine.

Works well in both transmit and receive modes. Pairs easily with two speakers.
I use this device with two UE Bluetooth speakers. I can position them anywhere in my house and on my deck and get great sound. I have two criticisms. First, the users manual does not explain how to replace the battery. Second, in the transmit mode the aux input cable must be disconnected to use the optical input. An autodetect feature on the transmitter input would be very nice.

Tricky to set up but does the job!
Initially had a lot of trouble setting this up as a transmitter between my record player and Bluetooth speakers, since the lack of any UI makes pairing it with a Bluetooth speaker (which itself will not generally have a UI) tricky — until it connects and you hear music coming out you have no idea whether they’re trying to pair with other things, or just not seeing each other, or what. Ultimately got it working — I recommend using it in “bypass” mode first to make sure the source is connected right, and then switching to TX mode while the audio is still playing. For whatever reason, that was what finally got my speaker to see the transmitter and pair successfully. Could have been easier, but for the price I’m happy. Range is good enough to reach my patio!

Works great for connecting my internet radio to my bluetooth headset
Pairing is the easiest part to connecting my internet radio to my bluetooth headset. I can walk around in my office and not lose connection or have sound distortion while listening to music and news. I recommend Giveet transmitter / receiver.
