Chesapeake Bay Candle Mind & Body Serenity Scented Candle, Pause with Pure Essential Oils (Lavender and Sage), Medium

I discovered this brand of candles on Amazon and I like them so much better than "department store" brands. The candle itself looks nice with a fancy wood lid, and this one has an added layer of textured, colored film over the frosted glass that still shows the flicker through, but dresses it up and adds a pop. The scent is so fresh and clean without being floral, perfect for an office, any gender, bathrooms, or when your parents are coming to visit and you want your place to smell like you just cleaned. The bottom says 54 hours of burn time and I usually find that to be pretty accurate if not longer with this brand of candle. They do their math and have the right ratio of surface area to number of wicks that make them last.

This candle has a relaxing scent . I am a huge lavendar fan and use bath salts nightly with my bath to help me relax. It's hard to find lavendar candles that aren't too strong. This candle for me has the perfect strength of scent for a room. It is not a candle that will smell the entire house. This candle by Chesapeake Bay mind &Body has the perfect scent for relaxing. The combination of Sage and lavendar provides the best scent for winding down, and relaxing.This candle would be perfect for anyone who loves candles or is looking to give as a gift. The holder is a great durable design. It has a pretty purple color. The burn time for the medium candle is 54 hours which I find great compared to other candles this size.I am going to have to try other ones in the mind and body collection but really loved the pause candle. I have used in the bath and it's amazing for relaxation

This is one of my favorite candles! It's scent is strong but not over bearing, it will last for a long time and it just has a nice jar and overall appearance which makes it very giftable I will continue to buy this candle :)

The Subjective review: I did not like the scent. Not what I was expecting. I was hoping for something different and it turned out to be too soft and it smells like dollar-store multipurpose cleaner scent.The Objective review: The product is good overall. The quality of it is very good. The size is a somewhat smaller that what you would get for the same money in a store like Marshalls, Burlington, TJ Maxx and the like. The glass holder is thick, heavy and nicely decorated, and the wood cap is nicely finished. It has three wicks and scent spreads out fast. It would definitely make a nice gift for scented candle lovers. Has a premium look to it. It was packed in a box with bubble wrap and brown paper, very secure.

I AM IN LOVE with this candle. It smells amazing, burns slow, & is beautiful! I want to keep the holder once the wax is gone. It looks gorgeous when it’s burning. I love love love it! Originally I ordered 1 & just ordered 4 more for backups. Great value for your money!!

I love the look of this candle, from the nice wood top to the pretty effect it gives off when lit because of the way the glass is painted. The smell was great - not overwhelming, but enough to fill the room. The candle came very well packaged, so there was no worry it would break.

It comes in a beautiful green container and I love the way the glass looks when it burns. I probably would choose a different scent though next time. The Awaken scent with lemongrass, lime and peppermint has a clean, fresh smell to it. I however think it smells too much like a cleaning product or amost like a citronella candle for my liking.

I have ordered 4 different candles from Chesapeake Bay and my favorite so far is Pause (lavender) and Meditate (ylang ylang, lemon, cedarwood). I think they smell amazing, burn a long time and I love the presentation of the candle in the large glass jar. These have become my go to candles for sure, would recommend for anyone.

Love the mild scent to this one, it is not over powering! Burn in my bedroom and I am very pleased, almost a month and I am just above half burnt... only lighting for a couple hours here and there but still very pleased!!

I love this candle! The scent is gentle, warm and very clean. So far seems to be long lasting as well. Will definitely be ordering again.

I used to buy Bendell candles but since thats no longer possible these candles also soy based are a great value and burn well with a nice scent
