If you have a child or grandchild who deserves a surprise this Sonic Hedgehog is great.

So my son loves the series however this book that we received was faulty or like didn't have enough glue or something. He got to read it about 3 times before the pages started falling completely apart. Now we have a lot of single pages that have fallen out of the book and not exactly sure what order they go in .

A great book! Ian Flynn subverts our expectations in a good way!

See my review of vol 1 if you haven't already. The comic continues to impress me with its take on established characters. So far, all characters are written better than they are in the games. The comic continues to give each character a purpose in meaningful ways. Often I found characters being thrown into the games for the simple sake of having them. This comic gives a reason for each character to be a part of the story and they help push the narrative. In this volume, the story starts to unfold more and it fleshes out lore and the universe of Sonic. The comic tries to explain and justify stuff the games left behind without much thought, this comic does a decent job at cleaning up the mess left behind by the writing of the games. The volume was a good read and those who are fans of Sonic Heroes are in for a treat.

My child loves these comics!

I’m going to get the other comics. These are really good. Not only do they give little treats to long time sonic fans, but the new characters and story lines are deep. The artwork is fluid and well made to suit a cartoon, perfect for sonic.

I saw a lot of reveiws for this series saying that Sonic Forces, the game that takes place before this series, was very rushed. But I have seen 0 complaints about Sonic Generations, where they literally just took levels from other sonic games, and just put them into the game and barely added anything new. Also, It doesn't matter if it was bad for a lot of people, It was made for children. And as a child who has played many Sonic games, I thought it was good (gameplay not story). Oh,and the books are good too.

I like the comic but the first part is misding pages!

My son absolutely loves sonic and really looks forward to collecting the sonic comics but at not only two days of reading it the pages have slipped out. We’ve had to sellotape them back in. The comic itself other than quality is really enjoyed by my 5 year old sonic fan, which has lots of illustrations and speech bubble text throughout.

The book arrived in good condition, the story line is great and my nephew is delighted :)
