This series of books is hands down fantastic. They are well made to a high standard and the presentation is second to none.This version of the lion king is no exception.The outer feels premium with a fabric cover printed with story art which looks just as good on the shelf as in your hand.The book includes concept art as well as stills from the film and due to the length is an excellent bedtime read for little ones, or a fine solo read for older children.

Overall very pretty book, to add to my classic disney collection, which I cannot wait to read to my daughter. Pretty selection of drawings, illustrations and shorter version of the disney classic story. Price reasonable, and delivery was good. Not so well packaged, as some of these books dont come bubbled wrapped if ordering on their own and come in a single cardboard sleeve which some of the books in my collection have bent corners of the book cover. Ideal for a disney classic fan as advertised. disappointed that this book mentions its the 30th anniversary of this story, as I am collecting the classic series and would have preferred if the covers had remained the same style with adding the 30th to the front over of this one.

What a lovely book, good hardback, illustrations are wonderful. Bought as a gift to help a friend learn to read again after her brain injury so keeps her attention & would be ideal for a younger child

I bought this for my Disney loving and Lion Ling obsessed partner who also collects a lot of Lion King Merch. She absolutely loved it and immediately sat down and read it all while gleaming with joy.I'm not much of a Disney fan myself but was impressed by the quality of this book even though it is rather small. I agree with some of the other reviews, this doesn't seem aimed towards kids or regular Disney fans but will be appreciated by any fan of the original Lion King as more of a collector piece. It's filled with lovely concept artwork rather than the finished versions that we see in the film. This is a great touch as it shows the processes done from the 'Golden era' of Disney when it was still all hand drawn.Be prepared, there are a lot of fake copies about of these types of books. When buying here, make sure it is being dispatched by Amazon AND sold by Amazon.

This book looks so beautiful, I can’t wait to read it to my little one as it’s one of his favourite movies.

These books are incredible and absolutely a must have for anyone who is a Disney fan. Do not be fooled by the recent copy cat books that have popped up on Amazon. Ensure you buy books by the publisher “studio press” to get these fab high quality ones and not the copycat ones which are being sold for (unbelievably) more money than these beautiful editions. The copycats have tried very hard to fool by even having a similar publisher name. Ensure it says “studio press” or “bonnier books” for these real ones.

This is a well made, solid book which is probably more suitable for collectors. It features a beautiful, contemporary cover with foil detailing, however I was left a little disappointed with the imagery chosen to tell the story.The Lion King is, to this day, my favourite Disney film. As a child, I was always mesmerized by the rich colours and stunning imagery used throughout the movie, but the pictures in this book aren't anything like this, unfortunately. They're very dull and lack the vibrancy I was hoping for.Still a nice item to have if you collect these books, but not so great if you're after a bit of childhood memorabilia.
