Honestly, it's not the greatest illustration board in the world, but it works well. Best part though is the way it ships. Crescent packages this REALLY well. Boards got to me in perfect condition.

These boards were packaged surprisingly well, after I baught them I was worried they would come in with "dog ears" (bent corners) but that wasnt a problem because of the edge packaging, plus the box... They were snuggly packaged. I used these for colored pencils and watercolors, they hold up to it fairly good just don't 'rub' marker or the water too much as you will get bits of pieces rubbing off. (they do morph from the water as in any other paper product usually does, keep flat and you're good)

Value for the money easy to watercolor on.

I love to use these boards any time I want to do a larger piece that I use watercolor or ink on.

My daughter's professor was VERY specific and requested ONLY Bainbridge Board...well we couldn't find Bainbridge Board so we purchased this Crescent Board. It's great! The quality is equivalent to Bainbridge Board and this is economical.
