I am a male in his 30s with olive to tan skin tone of Asian descent. I will say that before trying any product, consult with your doctor and know that each and every one of us has different types of skin and some products will or will not work or have the same results. That being said, I bought this product for a few reasons: first being that I have a lot of acne scars that I wanted to get rid of and secondly, I didn't want to pay the price of a regular chemical peel nor want to experience the abrasive peeling that comes with it. I was looking for a safe at home product that had great reviews and was very affordable. And after reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to try this product for myself and for $30, it was a bargain.This product came in the mail very fast, about 3 days. Be patient with this peel and it most likely takes a couple of treatments before you see that clear smooth skin that we all hope for. When you get the product, make sure you read the directions thoroughly and do not skip any steps. My routine starts out with a facial wash and exfoliant... such as an oscillating facial brush with plain cleansing soap -- I then rinse and dry my skin with a towel, proceeding then with the peel solution. I first started this as a spot treatment on dark spots and light scarring to test my tolerance level. The instructions says to leave it on for 1 min as a test; the more you can tolerate, the longer you can leave it on, but DO NOT exceed 5 minutes. Note that on your face, the skin around your eyes/ corners of your eyes are much thinner than the rest of your face, i.e. forehead, cheeks, nose areas. The exterior corners of my eyes had a darker tint and I wanted to remove the darkness, however I left it on for over a minute and a half and it burned my skin: it was red, turned to scabs and after a few days of the pre peel steps, it came off and the redness went away to reveal a more even skin tone. After you've test a few areas, you then can proceed to larger areas of you skin.The method of application I use is I squeeze the solution into a small measuring cup (the tiny cups that comes with cough syrups works great) and I apply the solution onto my skin with a brush. Believe it or not, a thin half inch width art paint brush: this gives an even application and is not absorbed into the material like a cotton pad or ball would. I leave it on for about 2.5 minutes, maybe 3 and you will start to feel a tingling and slight stinging reaction -- I'm able to tolerate it, but again, do not leave it on for more than 5 minutes. After a 2 to 3 mins, rinse your face with cold water until you feel the solution has completely been washed off. You then can wipe your face with a towel. I repeat this very step every 3 days and wash my face the next day with the oscillating face brush; this will help with the exfoliation of the dry dead skin.With each treatment, my face looked "sun kissed" you can say. Areas treated were slightly pinkish, but that coloration will go away after a few hours... for me, others may differ. I didn't peel like what you see with normal peels from a dermatologist. My skin had fair dryness and patchiness but it never looked as though my skin was falling off my face, you will begin to see this after a day or two. Again, the exfoliation helps with removing this. I repeat the treatment until all the scars and dark spots have diminished and it took about one month for this to happen all over my face. Consistency is key.Overall this product has worked for me using the steps I mentioned. If you like to try it out, do so , but if you experience a severe reaction, stop immediately and don't give it a second chance. I hope this review was helpful.

WORKS REALLY WELL ! Take your time and read the instructions you shouldn’t go any more than 1 minute on your first try YOU WILL REGRET IT ! WEAR SUNSCREEN if you go outside in the sun ! It really does burn the your bad skin of and peels away at all ice pick scars etc. you will notice a difference after using it a few times as you can’t use it excessively. 10/10 I don’t even need a chemical peel treatment anymore ! This works so good !

I have had chemical peels at spas and it doesn't come close to the results that this product does. It does leave my skin soft afterwards. I recommend using it once, nor more than twice a week as you want to allow new skin cells to generate. It is so simple to use, but it's very important to be careful on how you prep your skin and how long you leave it on. I don't have sensitive skin normally, but there have been some times where I have left the peel on too long, or have exfoliated too hard prior to application, and caused my face to have red blotches and eventually course skin a few days later due to tiny scabs from the burning of the skin. It scrubs off a few days after that, but if you do it right, you won't get those results. Out of the several times I have used this, this only happened a couple times and it was simply due to leaving it on too long or extensive exfoliation prior to application. I personally like to do this on a Friday night so that I don't apply any makeup the following day to give my skin some rest.Since I am not an esthetician, I googled "how to" videos on applying it correctly and here's what's worked for me:1. Lightly scrub face with a course washcloth prior to application so that it loosens dead skin cells. DO NOT use apricot scrubs or course scrubs as this will leave tiny "cuts" in the skin which makes the peel burn those parts.2. Wipe the face with alcohol to free it of any oils and germs.3. Apply Vaseline around the eyes, creases in the nose, and around lips, so that the peel does not get on those areas. Those are sensitive areas that can lead to burning/peeling of skin afterwards.4. Drop one full pipette of the peel into a glass dish/bowl and with a fan brush (recommended) apply the peel all over the skin, starting with the forehead and working your way down. Carefully avoid eyes, nose creases, and lips, or any open skin such as acne areas or cuts.5. Leave on for about 2 - 3 minutes. It will burn/sting for about the first minute, then nothing, but that doesn't mean it's not still working. Leaving it on too long can result in the face looking sunburned.6. Wash off with tepid water and apply, if desired, with light oil free lotion.
