This is the filter you should use, I tried a K&N and I noticed better throttle response but lost a mile or more per gallon. The rule of thumb is more air burns more fuel, I wasn’t sure so I tried it. I went immediately back to this filter and my truck is back to normal and these filters actually are better for the engine because they filter smaller particles. Throttle response was t my motivation for trying the K&N, I thought it would help with economy but it’s the opposite.

This filter was ordered with the exact number as the last one I ordered but there was no blanket/cloth material on the bottom for smaller particles as the last one I ordered.Works but less qualty IMO.

Always my go to air filter replacement since I was a teenager.

Fram is a reliable name brand that I am familiar with and trust. In my opinion, if it's not broke, don't fix it. Fram has never disappointed me and I will stick with the brand.
