AdafruitTB6612 1.2A DC/Stepper Motor Driver Breakout Board

Great driver for hobby size motors.Its tiny! In fact its almost too small! My only complaint is that it is a little hard to mount due to its small size - I mean there are so many wires tugging at this little guy, I feel like it would benefit from two more mounting holes. Also you can't breadboard it easily due to the power pins being in the center (and it looks like they're 0.15" apart so they wouldn't fit anyway) - you have to use jumper wires. Otherwise though the TB6612 is a great product and this is too. It's well made and solid for its small size.

Very easy to use. Just flip a few digital output pins to control two motors. Great for our project of putting using an Arduino with a sound sensor in a Billy Bass talking fish to control the motors to lip-sync it with a Google Home Mini we put inside the talking fish.

I'm running 4 of these and so far no issues. Nice product and easy to work with.However, get them from Adafruit directly at half the price.

This driver is expensive compared to others, but it very efficient in energy usage and is very small making it convenient to add to projects where space is limited.

Should be as easy as flipping switches, but looks like I've obtained some duds. I ordered 2 and both were defective. Must have been defective parts, bad handling, or some other reason. The boards were heating up upon motor connection. I ordered other boards, with the same chip, hooked them up the same and i got proper functionality.

I used various Adafruit products . No second thought necessary before buying their well engineered products! Same with this product...worked at first shot...no issues. Thank you Limor Fried for what you (and your team) are doing to the learner / user community!!!

This little board is awesome. Worked great on my autonomous mouse project.
