Yes, this adds a bit of background to the movie story-wise as well as having very good graphics. The only thing I don't like is that I can currently only read these on my Kindle app for my computer (drawback of having the original grey scale Kindle I suppose).

Gave me a great introduction to the next movie. Explaining the allspark, the fallen, the harvester, and how Megatron got duped by the Fallen into starting the war in the first place. VERY COOL.Loved ALLIANCE too but this one is better:-)

These comics keep continuing to answer questions I had about what happened between the first and second film. Worth the one buck!

This is more of a 2007 and the 2009 films backstory adaptation. The writers did a good job filling in some of the plot holes and scenes we never got to see. I like it alot, this story explains alot about the bayverse and the comic-novel is in good condition i remember getting a preview of the first issue on my old Ipod. Overall the story was well written and constructed. I fell in love with the transformers back in 2005ish so Im proud to have this comic as my first Amazon purchase. The detail is beautiful and very artistic for a 2009 comic book. By today's standards much details in comic books are under appreciated but here I get to enjoy the story with a fitting art design of the setting I hope the artists and group that created this magnificent story create more stories like this especially for bayverse. The comic felt more like a movie. Maybe this was the live action movie we should have got. -Love the story.

This is a great way to connect the first and second movie in transition as the new members arrived. Always wondered what happened in between. :)

Defiance : Cette BD en anglais raconte la vie sur Cybertron avant la guerre. Megatron est le grand protecteur de Cybertron tandis qu'Optimus est le chef de mission de la recherche scientifique qui tente de comprendre le passé de son espèce et de la planète. Lorsqu'un mystérieux artefact est découvert, il va révéler la mégalomanie de Megatron mais aussi le destin exceptionnel d'Optimus, descendant des Primes. Cette BD fait le récit de superbe manière des évènements qui se sont déroulés et qui nous amènent à l'épisode 2 : Transformers Revenge of the FallenAlliance : Cette BD en anglais raconte ce qui s'est passé juste après la bataille dans le centre ville de Mission City / Los Angeles. Elle relate la dissolution du Secteur Sept, le début de l'alliance entre les Autobots et les humains et la traque des Decepticons qui semblent rechercher quelque chose de particulier sur la planète... Tous ces évènements nous amènent de manière logique et très bien faite vers l'épisode 2 : Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. Les dessins sont superbes et on retrouve nos personnages humains et robotiques préférés.

Like Reign of Starscream, Alliance explains the events that happen after the first movie. It takes place between the movie and RoS as well as after RoS and leaves off right before the new upcoming movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Without spoiling anything, it explains how the Autobots and humans start working together as a team. A very good read and leaves you on a cliffhanger where the second movie will start!

前作後日譚の「The reign of Starscream」からの設定を引き継いでおり、そのコミックで登場したキャラの一部などがこちらでもちらりと登場しています。前作とリベンジとの間を繋ぐ作品で、オートボットのディセプティコン狩りが話のメインとなっています。スタースクリームの刺青の謎や、何で前作で声が治ったバンブルビーがリベンジではまた喋れなくなったのか、等の疑問の答えも提示されています。玩具のみのＴＦも今回新たに登場しており、表紙にでかでかと描かれているレッケージにいたってはスタースクリームとの直接対決アリ。このコミックでは前述した「The reign of〜」の線画担当と彩色担当のコンビが最初から最後まで全ての作画を担当しています。ＴＦも人間もよく似ていますので、買って損はないかと。
