That its quite an old piece of kit but the bluetooth does work to connect it to TV
OK so maybe I should have noticed that this is quite old with reviews from 2018...but anyway I bought it as I just bought a new 2024 samsung smart tv with a soundbar and thought it would be fun as my wife is chinese and loves ktv. Not so easy to set up, so far I got it working by connecting it to the tv with bluetooth but then I cannot get it to output to the soundbar, so i had to output it to an old cd player/bluetooth speaker thing we had that still has an old school jack plug. I cannot get the HDMI outputs to work at all yet. Still, the mics are OK, the control panel is OK, not fantastic, the knobs are a bit cheap looking and don't make a huge sound difference but the echo effect does work, the mixing works well (2 mics plus the music). So far I used it with the Stingray app that comes with the TV and worked fine. UPDATE: I bought a 3.5mm jack to digital cable and plugged this into my soundbar, and finally everything works, the music and microphones come out through the soundbar. You have to unplug any eARC HDMI cable though or the TV will try to override it, or I guess you can turn off the HDMI eARC through the TV menu.

Did not last very long, very flimsy. Will break in a few days

It looks great but it came faulty
The Microphone came really quick and looks really good the problem with mine that came with a scratch and a bash. It looks that has been used before. You can connect to the computer really easy and listen song and sing at the same time. I saw a previous review and I thought it would sound higher but it is not that higher in the normal mode, but if you use ECH mode it looks higher. If you are not in ECH mode you cannot notice if the microphone is working. I am going to return it because it is not in good conditions but I am going to give it try to a new one to see if works better. I will review the new one and I will try to shared a video where you can see the sound.I have just bought a new one, so I will let you know how is this new one. I have tried Philonext Bluetooth Karaoke Microphone and definitely this is much better. I returned because it was faulty.

Old tech new tech nervous purchase, perfect outcome (in the end)
Don’t normally do reviews, but if this helps anyone in the uk happy to do so. Panic stations for Christmas. Large LG smart TV, Bose sound bar (connected by optical cable) and lack of desire to buy another crappy all in one Karaoke machine. Looked at so many of these and reviews, and in the end plumped for this one. Nervous because all new tech doesn’t seem fully compatible, and new TVs don’t have older outputs. Intention was to use YouTube from smart TV and mix with mic and end up playing through Bose sound bar which has satellite speakers. It took me an age to get this working! And the solution wasn’t what I intended. Could not get output from TV to mix with mixer and then with sound bar. Then tried the sky q mini as the input and tried you tube off there. Could only either get picture or sound but not both. Getting more and more frustrated I finally saw the review that mentioned using fire stick. Dusted off my long since used Apple TV and used that to feed HDMI in on mixer and then from there to TV. Of course the sound bar just worked as normal speaker from TV! So basically couldn’t use TV as input it needed to be later in the chain. Couldn’t get working without basic Apple TV input to mixer and then to TV but perfect when I did that. With new set up it work exactly as would have hoped and is great for the odd occasions we are going to use this.

Knowing how this connects is important.
It works but not perfectly and success really depends on your set-up.Firstly the HDMI ports are pass through only, this means that you need to plug the HDMI music source (e.g. youtube from a TV, laptop or playstation etc) into the HDMI in, then plug the HDMI output back into whatever you had previously, e.g. a home theatre system or soundbar etc. This allows you to mix the microphone sound with the music, though there is a slight lag which sounds like an echo, so I had to turn the echo right off.An alternative setup with no sound lag is to use the bluetooth connection to connect an iPad (or whatever) music source (but not video obviously) and then connect the device to an audio source via the 3.5mm connector to an amplifier using the red/white connectors. You don't use HDMI at all in this configuration. For karaoke lyrics etc you would use the attached bluetooth device screen. You might be able to then 'cast' that video feed to a TV etc, but that gets more complicated depending on what device you are using to handle home theatre inputs. So there are options and it is nice small unit and sounds fine for the price, but potentially complicated to setup depending on your home entertainment network architecture.
