The New York Times: 36 Hours World Hardcover – May 28, 2015

This was purchased to provide trip planning inspiration for my mother who loves to travel. Not only did she enjoy the set, but I enjoyed it as well after she was finished with it.Much of the same information can be found on the internet but the value of the book is in the presentation and consolidation of information with a focus on short 36-hour trips. It is convenient to review the highlights of a given destination without having to do a lot of work sorting the best options for a quick weekend trip.

Bought these as a present for my brother who was going to Europe for the first time. He loved them! So much information and the card that came with it allowing you to access everything online was great for him to use while there if needed. I liked it so much when I received it that I went and bought one for me!

Bought this set a few years ago as a travel reference. I didn't know how great it would look as a set. Makes a wonderful gift for those who enjoy traveling.

I absolutely love them book set. I love the color photos, the information; this is definitely my guide for my next trip. I didn't have the heart to throw away the nice carrying case that it came in. A must for anyone looking for a physical or mental vacation.

I'm having so much fun reading through these 36 hours. When I'm in need of a mental vacation I can jump from São Paulo to Singapore to Shanghai. These books have come in handy on my travels and have been great for a coffee table read too. Highly recommended!

This is a great addition to the other 2 I have.A little pricey but it comes in s very nice box that I have reuse to store other travel book.Nice picture and very concise and clear information.

Love the design of books, soft cover allows for lots of digging and exploring. Great resource for anyone who loves to explore, even if it's for longer than 36 hours.

I followed my daughter around Europe with this as a guide. I visited San Francisco this summer and used it, also Sedona, AZ. Has yet to steer us wrong!
