Front Center Console Lid Latch Compatible with 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma Interior Armrest Console Latch Replacement #58910AD030B0 – Gray 41042

My stock OEM part broke, so during my next oil change at dealership they put a new one on. It lasted 3 years then it broke again I took it out myself and noticed it looked just like the part advertised on Amazon so I bought it. I got it last week took it out of the box nothing wrong with it, it is made well. Install was easy with the screw driver that came with it, I used the original screws from the old one. You have to take off/out the 5 screws from underneath the lid to access/get the part its simple. I don't know why they advertise 2012 when it fit just fine on my 2013 4 door TRD 4X4. And if this one breaks I'll buy another one Toyota made a crappy design with the 2ND gen. I'm happy I can close the center console now.

Great replacement part, the images are from left to right, take off the black cover inside of the center console door, which will expose the door locking mechanism, simply unscrew the device, screw in the replacement device, reinstall the black cover, and you're good to go. Item was installed on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Crew cab.

My latch broke a few days ago and did not want to go through Toyota considering they markup their prices like crazy.Bought this instead, was hesitant since it did not match my center console and was meant for older 2nd gen Tacomas. Was going to spray paint it black, but left it grey since the secondary color on the interior was the same color.Overall looks great and don’t mind the color switch from black to grey!Spend your money on this rather than going through the parts department at Toyota!

Direct and easy fit. Installation was simple and the latch works without hassle or fail. Very impressed that I broke the OEM part, ordered this and had my latch repaired less than 24 hours after the initial OEM failure. It was so easy, I forgot I had to make the repair.

it's a perfect fit for the OEM front console. i was actually surprised i needed to replace it to begin with. i've owned 5 Toyo's, each one over 15 years old before i sold them and I have never had to replace a cabin part so when the latch broke when i rarely open the center storage, very surprised. but this part fit perfectly, easy to install and looks OEM

It came with a combination Phillip's and flat blade screwdriver. Very good quality. For the price of the latch I have a great little screwdriver that should last for years too.

It fits, but it doesn't operate as smoothly as the original. You have to push directly in the center and push straight in. With the original you could push anywhere and didn't have to even think about which direction you were pushing, but with this one, if you don't get it just right, it will bind up.

Very good replacement, almost OEM quality. Color off a bit but still good. Easy to install, they even include a very cool convertible screwdriver.Toyota wanted $173 for the entire pad and bracket assembly.
