I ordered the 7/0, for giant cats! If you want a comparison, these hooks has the same gap as any, but,, the shank is about 1 inch longer. These work SUPER for threading a whole shad on hook! These hooks are tough, durable, and sharp, you will not bend them or open the eye on big hook set! If you dont know hook sizes, go to walmart, look at 7 or 8/0 hooks, find your size, order these. Buy the best 1 time, and your money ahead, these wont rust either,,
