Churchill

Its a magnificent read where the author dwells both onto the praises and the critical aspects of Churchill's life. Good from a neutrality point of view, since Churchill was shaped during the sunset of the Victorian era and most of his views in the modern world do no corelate to the values emphasized on back then.

While the book highlights all the great stuff about Winston, it also sugar coats all the evil stuff he ever did. All in all, a good read!

What an absolute delight to read. The author is in control of his subject which is very difficult with Churchill. Look at Boris Johnson founder with his book on Churchill. Andrew Roberts is by far the better author than even Gilbert or Manchester.

The media could not be loaded. Enthralling surprising and engaging book. U will get to know the man behind the myth.author has tried to concise the vastness and width of Churchill's life in about a 1000 pages.this book is long and certainly requires once commitment but once you will get through it you will feel the satisfaction you have never felt and of course know about a man you never had this book will inspire you to read more books know about the history more in general know about the history of World war 2 and inspire you to more become like a man with more perseverance courage and think like a strategic thinker.and for better or for worse you want to read more books written by the same author Andrew Roberts. Except Bengal famine everything is more or less on point and based on evidence I would say.

A must read for student

I have always enjoyed books on the Second World War and this one is no exception. However, the font size in the book is too small and caused quite some discomfort while reading

It is suitable for phd scholars. Robert service books on Lenin, trotsky and Stalin are best which cover all periods in short without omitting any major details.

Speaking un the local dialect, looking like local goons, chewing pan Masada and smelling like rats....Just based the door and no mention of parcel just give us money...
