Comfortable
The curved edge makes it more comfortable on the thumb

Made for specifically picking and not hybrid strumming/picking
They are as described and sound great. Though just wanted to hop on here and say if you are looking for something to also strum (up and down) with, I would get a thumb pick that is flat on both sides. The lip on this pick makes it catch when trying to strum up.

Love this guy more than any other pick. You can get this thing so tight on your thumb. When i get going i can do some extremely fast picking with it, or use it for bass lines etc. lost mine for a while so i had to grab the 5 pack.

Solid, easy to adjust, and a shallower spade for picking
I like these picks because they hold up well and don't have a deep spade that picks on the string, which helps reduce the chances of hitting the banjo head with the pick. They don't seem to generate a lot of pick noise on the strings either.

Sounds great!
After a few months using the plastic thumbpick that came with my banjo, I upgraded to these. I think they make the banjo sound better.
