Very easy to install with no issues. A++

Very pleased with this as the OEM switch is well over $100 to replace. Took less then 5 minutes to install. Make sure to warm up the putty and spread it all around the old button. Also make sure to remove any of the old plastic if it is peeling

All in all, it’s a solid design and looks nice in the car. My only complaint is that the button doesn’t sit flush with the aluminum bezel around it like the stock button does (Keep in mind, this is a 2013 F10 535i, so it may look better in your model). Overall looks good.

Install was quick, and it fits my 2018 BMW M4 F82. Bimmerplug sells the same item for $35 plus tax and $15 for shipping.My only minor complaint is the putty it comes with is not sticky enough.

OMG!!!! This button may not solve world peace but it gave the car its wow factor back! More over I can line up against a Ferrari or Lambo…And win in a drag race. (Not really- but hey if you read this far, but the damn button!)

The process of placing the clay on the old ignition was difficult and repetitive, likely because the ignition paint was already chipping and with every pull more came off. But once I cleaned the ignition of loose paint and let the clay set for about 5 minutes I was able to get it out. After that, placing this replacement was a breeze, it just clipped it. I have a 2011 BMW 328i e92

The button seems OEM ABS Plastic quality with a good finish to it. Easy to remove the old and to install this one with its added sticky putty.CONS:The lettering on the crystal are smaller than the OEM BUTTON. Easily overlooked because they are pretty similar to the Auto Shutoff Button letter size.The button crystal looks like it sticks out more than the OEM but it’s because it’s a flat top button and not a round top button like the OEM. Easily overlooked Definitely recommend

I love this new start button! The text is a little bit smaller than the original but that doesn’t bother me. The crystal look is so much nicer than the stock button and the blue colored ring looks really good. I found that using a precision flathead screwdriver to pop the old button out was much easier than trying to use the clay that came with it. It was as easy as popping out the old button and pressing in the new one making sure it clicks on all sides. The button mechanism feels the same and it looks great. A little expensive for what it is but it is a quality product, highly recommend
