Full 32 Gb of memory made a late 2015 iMac i5 go from ok to incredible .
Over all memory is memory period. I have used aftermarket memory in all my apple computers. It was simple to put into my Late 2015 iMac pop the cover off . I put the computer screen side down on my bed and placed the new memory in its slots simple as can be. Poped the cover on and right away the computer recognized the new memory. To test it out I opened all of my editing software Lightroom, photoshop, logic X and FCPX, and filled them with many images and video projects , as well as opened every thing in my dock and the computer did not even finch . At 32 Gb of memory I can edit video till my fingers fall off with out having to sacrifice the video I'm trying assemble . With every thing opened I edited a video and had not a problem at all. This memory rocks and did a great big change for my computer I finally got the performance I paid for in this computer . The Late 2015 iMac w i5 processor and fusion drive was maybe 33% faster with 8 GB of memory than my old late 2010 mac book pro with 8 gb of memory after the increase to 32 gb of memory i fell the computer is probably 150% faster than the mac book pro . A great thing is when I open a program I no longer have to wait 10-30 second for it to open it almost instantly opens now . In Photo editing I no longer get gittery performance in Light room when change levels on filters and sliders its smooth as silk almost to smooth. In video editing before as I filled a 2 min video with transitions and sound and effects the effects would stutter and transitions were not smooth the whole video before the memory increase would stutter when played back, now with full effects , and a ton of processing the video plays smoothly with out a hitch . I looked on my activity monitor when every thing was opened and memory pressure was only at 30% as compared to when I tried that with only 8 gb of memory I maxed it out to 100% and the computer would freeze and I would have to restart my computer. I am very pleased with this memory its does exactly what its made to do speed and smooth things out I finally got the computer was looking for when I purchased the iMac in the first place if you don't have sufficient memory or only the base 8gb the computer came with it will not fully perform to what its capable of . For 160 bucks its a cheap quick up grade to make your computer go from ok to sensational in minuets .

Computer seems to be running better and faster
I installed these in my Late 2015 iMac 27" as it seemed to be getting a little sluggish. So far they are working well. My computer seems to be running better and faster. It was easy to install these after watching a video on youtube. Just remove the plate on the back and pop them in.

Fast iMac Memory
I purchased this to compliment the existing memory in my late 2015 27" Retina iMac. The two 8GB DIMMs were packaged well and very easy to install. Going by the instructions, I took out the existing DIMMs and put these new ones in their place, and then re-installed the old ones in the remaining slots. I closed up my computer, reconnected the power and other cords, turned it on, and after a minute or two was back in business.Computer responsiveness is a subjective thing and difficult to quantify, but without reservation I can say that my iMac is noticeably faster with the new memory added, now totaling 32GB. It is most evident when working with Photoshop and other memory intensive software, but can be seen in the general system and it just feels overall a speedier computer. My only regret is that I waited so long to upgrade, but the price is now affordable so it was worth it.While power users like myself are only likely to notice significant improvements in system responsiveness for certain tasks, adding RAM to your computer is NEVER a bad thing if you can afford it. These Adamanta 16GB (2x8GB) Apple Memory Upgrade DIMMs are an upgrade I should have done years ago.~ Kort

What A Difference!
My 8 year old iMac (Late 2015) with 8GB memory had really begun slowing down. This has been one of the most reliable desktop computers I've ever owned. Working though, as I do, with a dozen or so windows open at the same time, the performance was becoming painfully slow. I didn't realize I could expand the memory. When I learned I could expand up to 32GB, I thought, "what do i have to lose?" Before swamping out the memory, I ran a test. From shut down to sign-in, and then to Brave browser and ready to go with 8GB took 48 seconds to sign-in screen; 2 min 57 sec to be online. After adding the 32GB, 21 seconds to sign-in; 1:16 to be online. Wish I had realized I could've done this a few years ago.

Install by BANK or by DIMM? Not really sure.
The only thing that is confusing about installing this memory is which of the slots to install the pairs. The memory comes with a instruction card that suggest installing the memory by bank. Upon opening the iMac as it came from Apple you will see a DIMM in slot 1 and slot 3. Judging by the customer images uploaded to Amazon most people seem to be adding their new DIMM to slot 2 and 4. The instructions provided with this memory call for installing in original Apple memory in slot 1 and slot 2 and the new memory in 3 and 4. In this configuration, the BANK0 would have 2 x 8gb and the BANK1 would have 2 x 4 gb. I tried both configurations and the iMac booted fine and shows 24gb. I ran Novabench to see how fast the memory performs. I am still unclear which way is the best way to do it. Judging by the pictures that people have uploaded most people are doing it wrong , yet are not experience issues.
