This hat was a gift for my father. He loves it, firstly because it’s made really well (and it’s adjustable), it protects against harmful rays and it looks good on him! Another plus is that it is packable and that it doesn’t loose its shape.

This is my second purchase of the "Outback" style hat, once in 2019 and again in 2025. Great quality and fit. My hat size is 7 5/8 and this hat (L/XL) fits perfectly.

My wife bought me this as my hair is thinning quite a bit and baseball caps don’t cover the back area anymore with their adjustment opening. I was teaching at the time so it was a bit more distinguished too I guess. I love this hat, it’s very comfortable and flexible. Actually cooler in terms of one’s head temperature than a baseball cap due to the woven quality. It gets compliments. It’s easy to travel or hike around with as you can fold it into the taco shape they describe to pack away. Two years old and still like new. I often wear to the beach and during long walks and so far haven’t had any issues with sunburns - I was initially unsure about the open seeming weave regarding sun protection. It’s quite light weight. The brim isn’t overly large or small.It is not waterproof and doesn’t have a strap that goes under your chin so not for surfing or paddle boarding unless you can stay dry, keep that in mind. Overall probably my favorite hat I’ve ever owned. Thank you wife! :)

Wanted a lightweight sun hat. This is a relatively affordable hat. Offers great sun protection and doesn’t make your head hot. Fairly stylish for a sun hat as well. Only con: there is an internal still cord that can be used to tighten or loosen the hat. The cord is relatively long and even if tied, it’s a bit cumbersome and dangles out of the hat. Probably have to cut at some point and commit to a specific size.

Fits comfortably gives perfect shade for ears nose face you can feel the cool air under the visor. Never hat a cowboy hat but I can understand why they do great protection.

As a woman with a large head, I find this hat is a good fit. It's the second one I've purchased after accidentally leaving the previous one at a restaurant on vacation. I carry this around, it gets crushed in the car, I just push it back into shape. I've traveled with one, hiked with it, it's a go-to accessory for summer. The material is great quality and I know this will last.

Not too bad of a hat, works well in the sun. is comfortable, and looks fairly stylish.Three stars due to the fact that wearing a sun hat you would expect it to pick up moisture from your head and this underperforms. Worn a handful of times in the outdoors and within the first few times the dye in the leather bled into the hat. There are now permanent streaks of brown dye on the hat. The inner band that contacts your head is thin cloth with no real value or thickness. It ripped along the side within a few times just by lightly brushing away debris. Would expect it to be able cleaning and even a damp cloth without the leather dye rubbing off and staining the $50 plus hat.
