Probably the best wireless keyboard available at the moment

The Logitech MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard is surprisingly well made and has a heft to it that others dont. It sits firmly on the desktop and stays put even when you accidentally bump it. The rubber feet are very effective on most desk surfaces. The feel of the keyboard is a welcome change to the larger, chunkier gamer style boards and it's a joy to type on even after long periods of time. The keys are solid and responsive and have a firm landing to them that feels like quality. It has an overall premium feel to it, both in build quality and in design. The full size layout is so much easier than having to remember combo keys or number locks. Everything is right there where you need it and the concave texture on each key is subtle but welcome and keeps you centered when typing. You can actually use this keyboard to control 3 completely different computer setups, all with different user configurations and setups.. This is a lifesaver if you jump between different computer configurations on a regular basis. You simply hit one of three different layout buttons and it instantly switches to the appropriate setup, awesome. The wireless connection is quick and responsive and reconnects quickly after being dormant so you dont loose keystrokes. The backlight illumination is great in darker setups and can be set at differing brightnesses. The keyboard recharges with a USB-C connector and has a surprisingly long battery life. You can also leave it plugged in for continuous power if needed.Build like a tank, comfortable, and reliable.

Logitech MX keys for Mac — Way Better than Apple

I couldn’t be happier with the MX Keys for Mac! This keyboard is a dream for anyone who spends hours typing or working on creative projects. The keys are perfectly spaced and provide a satisfying, quiet tactile feel—ideal for both speed and comfort. It’s as close to a MacBook Pro’s keyboard as you can get, but even better with its ergonomic design and extra height from that of Apple’s keyboard. The backlighting is a game-changer, automatically adjusting to the ambient light, and the battery life is stellar—I’ve gone weeks without needing to recharge. Pairing it with multiple devices is seamless, and switching between them is instant with the Easy-Switch buttons. The build quality is premium, with a sleek design that perfectly matches the Mac aesthetic. Whether you’re writing, designing, or coding, this keyboard makes every task feel effortless. Highly recommend it to anyone who values both form and function in their peripherals!

This is the keyboard Apple should have built.

I have been using the "traditional" USB-A Aluminum Apple Keyboard for ever on my Mac Pro (Garbage Can Edition). Recently, the keys became sticky and well it's not like you can throw it on the dishwasher to get it cleaned, so I did the sensible thing, of looking for an alternative. My first thought, was to get THE newer Apple Keyboard, which goes for $117 etc. But then I saw a "Cheaper" alternative for $40 bux. The Cheapskate in me rejoiced, and I ordered one. It was a piece of junk, arrived with keys that had fallen out the keyboard, and have the keys didnt work... Disdained I went back to the drawing board, er Amazon and looked around again, and found the MX Keys. Checked a few reviews on YouTube and since it was $99 only, I decided to bite the bullet. The Youtube reviewers were extremely positive about it and I have to say that the experience so far (I got it in today) has been on par with the reviews I saw. Here are the best points:- Keyboard is made of Aluminum, with that dark metal brush Apple uses on their MacBook Pro's. It has weight, not for carrying, but when you put it on your desk, it's not getting easily moved. If you smacked someone in the head with it, is pretty close to a halberd...- It has BACKLIGHT KEYS! They are decently bright, like not like Xenon BMW Lights, but you will see your keys if your room is dark... This is probably the feature I like the most.- It supports up to three other devices via Bluetooth. So I am using it with the 2.4 Uni Dongle from Logitech, (which allows up to 4 additional peripherals to use the same Peg, but if I wanted to use it with my MacBook Pro, and my iPad or my iPhone, I can use it via bluetooth, without having to reconfigure for my Mac Pro.- I can't talk on the battery life yet, because I have been using it for a day... and honestly, with the MacPro sitting nearby, I dont have a need to use it wireless. I have it connected to my Mac Pro via USB for charging and the cable doesnt bother me... I'll probably test it just out of curiosity but not real need, nevertheless the YouTubers said that the battery didn't last too long, I think 10hrs? But again, it doesnt really matter because unless your mac is in Timbuktu, it's trivial, or if you use your MBP with the keyboard you can always plug it in...- The USB-C cable that comes with the MX-Keys for Mac is USB-C on both ends, so In my case, where my poor Garbage Can Edition, doesn't have USB-C, I ended up using one of the one million cables I have, which are USB-A to USB-C, and it works pretty darn good. Unless you are UBER picky, this shouldn't be an issue for anyone. The MX-Keys that is not Mac Specific comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable... but that keyboard would be good if you plan to use it on a windows system and a mac... It's not enough of a detriment to remove a star, so I still thumb it up.Lastly If you install Logitech Options Tool, it allows you to customize what the keys do. It's not needed, but good to have.I will probably get another one MX Keys for my wife, since this completely blows everything out of the water in terms of keyboard's for macOS. Apple should really up their game in that sense.
