Second attempt to find a replacement switch for a 25+ year old small pickup, once figured out how to put it in it worked fine.

I had to shave/round the corners down for it to slide in like OEM. After that it worked perfectly

Works as described.
Works but green light stayed on with the button on or off. Now green light doesn't work at all. It still works my ac on/off fine though.

Fits like a glove, kinda
This part didn't fit my 2000 Tacoma SR5 because it was about 1/16" too wide and tall. Simple fix!!! Sanded about 1/32" (hair) from the top, left, and right of the housing (NOT THE BOTTOM). Don't sand the brim of the housing (the area surrounding the "A/C" button). I also lifted the 5 electric prongs because they were a little too low and would not engage into the harness connector. As far as the quality? It doesn't look like OE. I didn't want to pay the dealer price, and I didn't want a used part, so this worked for me. When it brakes I'll most likely buy it again, depending on how long it lasts initially. Hope this helps!
