Fantastic jig

Got this to cut thin strips. Works perfect in the track on Grizzly table saw. It locks down perfectly and is very secure. I recommend.

Solid unit and works as stated.

First off, I had already initiated a return on this unit due to the fact that you seemed to need two arms and a leg to tighten the unit into the slot. Then I read the reviews and the solution was right there. Rotate that spreader screw 90 degrees and try again. Worked like a charm. Tightens easily and securely with one hand and without a lot of effort. DWE7491 Dewalt saw.

Nice tool

I saw this on a YouTube video for cutting thin strips on a table saw and decided to give it a try. It worked great. Slides into 3/4 track on table top, adjusts for thickness with knob on top and tightens in place. Once set, each succeeding strip is exactly the same width. The system idea is good even though your fence has to be reset with every cut. But that's still better than trying to push narrow strips between the blade and fence which can lead to kickback. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting consistent thickness wood strips.

Doesn't Fit Ryobi.

Even though this didn't fit my Ryobi table saw, I'm giving this 5 stars. It is built very durable and sturdy.Design:I really wish it would have fit my Ryobi table saw. It needs to be more compatible with the different brands of table saws. I needs a slight width adjustment on the part that slides into the saw itself. Value for money:For an all metal piece, the value was really surprising.

Not Bad, but not great

I wanted to get one from Rockler, but it was unavailable. This one seems decent though. I have put several boards through it and it works well. The main negative with this is that you have to really crank the handle to make it stay put in the miter slot. Kind of an unnecessary PIA, not to mention the wear and tear on the handle. It can be fixed, but I don't like fixing brand new tools (even if that is the norm now). My Rockler feather boards can lock in when only using fingertips to tighten.

Fantastic for repeatable thin rip cuts

This jig is perfect for making repeatable thin rip cuts. The ball bearing on the tip rolls nicely and helps you feed stock smoothly while keeping the stock tight to your rip fence. The locking mechanism holds the jig tightly in the miter slot. The thinnest rips I've needed so far were 1/8" and they turned out perfect.

Great product and very well built

After watching countless YouTube videos on building your own thin rip jig and never getting around to making one, I broke down and bought this one. I am glad I didn't waste my time. This tool is very well built with premium fit and finish, dead simple to use, and much nicer than anything you can make. Rather than a simple stop, it has a bearing as the stop which not only sets the correct depth of the table saw fence, but also helps secure the workpiece tightly against the fence for extra security when cutting thin strips. The other thing I like about it is how easily you set the depth by measuring against the blade, tighten the knob just a little to lock the slider in place, then slide the whole unit toward you in the mitre slot and then tighten it a little more to lock it down before making your cuts.Part of the fun of the woodworking hobby is making cool jigs to solve specific problems, so I get that. But another fun part of the hobby is having premium quality tools that are a pleasure to use and just work with no fiddling around.
