Excellent and tasty. I love that it’s vegan and made with organic ingredients. Just add boiling water, cover and wait 15 minutes. Yummy. I could live on these alone.

THEY CHANGED THEIR NOODLES.. NOW ITS TWICE AS GOOD, IMO!Thinner noodles and they taste better too.. the noodles for me were the weak link, but its organic, so.. give and take. The broth is so good I didn't mind the blandish-tasting kinda thick noodles with interesting texture. But with this change (roughly March or April is my guess), these are twice as good as original-thin noodles soften more and taste WAY better.I discovered these at my local co-op about 10 yrs ago and loved them for a work lunch or snack.Spicy Kung Pao is my favorite - spoiler: its not spicy, its just YUMM!!

Tasty but too expensive

I've been craving split pea soup. I used to get Nile brand that was very good. Also some other brands that slowly disappeared. They were so convenient for camping. Well fast forward to Vegan Split pea soup...the only instant variety I could find. I boiled water. Why any health conscious person would microwave these is beyond me. Added to fill line .Stirred in seasoning packet. Covered for longer than time required. Checked consistentcy, way thick. Added more hot water and garlic salt to liven it up and thin it down. I enjoyed the mouth feel . But after swallowing, it just was odd. Was a fake smokiness trying to mask the meatless flavor? Would it be better without the seasoning packet? . Strange. I'll tri again and add or subtract until I reach a desired flavor. I have 5 more to eat. Waste not want not. 🙂...

Excellent flavor and texture in a short amount of time. I would be nice if a person could order more than 1 or 2 at a time.

I am a consistent consumer of Dr. McDougall split pea soup. I’ve never bought it from Amazon before, the stuff I got from Amazon has a foul flavor. Not at all accurate spices for a split pea, it taste completely off. The expiration date is dated a year from now.This product is foul. I am forced to return it as I don’t know what’s making this flavor taste so off.

I used to be able to buy this in my local grocery store but they stopped carrying it. I was so happy to find this on Amazon at store price! It’s so easy & quick to make. It’s super creamy and delicious. Crazy thing is, I don’t like peas but I LOVE this soup! I don’t know how that’s possible but I do!Best split pea soup ever! (And it’s even vegan!👍🏻)

This split pea soup is amazing! The calories are low and it gives an easy 15 grams of protein. It is a perfect meal for me after bariatric surgery. It's a bit pricey for 6 cups of soup, but I love it, so I am willing to buy it.
