Q: When it's turned on it shifts in a circle. Does it suppose to do that? I saw one at a party fixed/sitting in one place.

No, it's not. There is a website that has info. to fix this and another problem with the machine. I used the advice for mine and it works perfectly now. It's Wayne Schmidt's Bubble Page. Basically:1: Add weight 1 1/4 pound weight - CAP Barbell Standard 1-Inch Cast Iron Weight Plate, Single (Cost $2 - $4) I used a glue gun to glue the weight on. First, I let it sit out in the sun to make sure the glue didn't set too fast on the cold surface.2. Glue on a piece of rubber to the bottom of the weight (rubber shelf liner works well.)3. Use a 12 ounce sprite bottle to dispense the bubble solution.All of this information was from the website (except the sprite bottle. He uses a different type of bottle). He even has a video to explain everything. *The original design of this machine was more stable and it didn't jump around. Unfortunately, the new design needs some tweaking to make it work. I love my bubble machine now.

The small bottle that comes with this (4 oz or so) lasts about 15 minutes. You can empty the entire small bottle into the unit's reservoir, but at around 15 minutes, the unit will start to sputter as the wands no longer get fully immersed in the bubble solution. Buy the 2 liter bubble solution, it was just $5.

Good item but uses too much bubble liquid

This is very good quality, my daughter and other kids love it, it makes tons of bubbles. But it consumed the small bottle it came with in just few minutes, like 12-15 minutes. Therefore, buy the big liquid bottle from Gazillion when buying this, I got lucky they had 2 liter bottle on sale and got it for cheap. Otherwise the fun would have lasted only few minutes.Another thing if you buy this, make sure to not flood the liquid tray too much or it stops making bubble.
