Q: How hard are the screwdriver bits? We have a set that might as well be made out of lead. These don't look like very good steel. Are they?

They are decent quality. Plenty good for misc. home projects.

Q: why is the 65 piece set so much more than the 62 piece set?

I would say it all depends on what's included in the set. I give these as house warming gifts and these are the most complete and best value sets that I have seen.

Q: Where is this made? What country?

I'm sure it's made in China, but I don't know for certain. It's cheap and I'm thinking of returning it. Tools aren't held well in the case and the sockets are small. I would not buy again.

Q: what is the size of the blade in the utility knife?

Thanks for your question. The utility knife is about 5 inches in length and the blade is contained inside the handle so it is approximately the same length. However it is not a solid blade that extends out, it has those small perforations that allow you to snap the old tip out and use the next one up when the old one becomes dull or damaged.
