Great product and great delivery

Excellent product

I'm not sure how long I should take this before I feel any results. So I can't give a good review yet

The order came very fast to my mailbox I ordered it Friday and had it in Mondays mail.I ordered this because I have had my 3rd Gout attack in 8 years. My last attack was about 3 years ago so meds is not really needed.I did some research and found this product. I was drinking cherry juice and eating cherries after the attack but this solution seemed much easier to do on a daily basis. All I can tell everyone is that my previous blood test over a year ago showed a Uric Acid level of 9.5 which is over the 8of normal. I didn't have an attack but it was still high. I don't know what it was just before the attack but I am assuming it was much higher than the 9.5. I took 3 pills ( 1 every 8 hrs) on Monday and 2 times on Tuesday before the Dr. drew blood and the results came back 6.2 Uric Acid level. I was eating cherries and drinking cherry juice for about 4 days after the attack also, but I feel the Cherry Extract helped me get this to the lower normal number. I am still taking meds to get the swelling and pain down but the uric acid level is now normal.Time will tell if this keeps my Uric Acid level down over a long period but for now I am happy with the results.

Didn’t help

I've been using the Tart Cherry Extract product for several years, also Nutri-Gout. When home, I prefer to drink 4 oz of tart cherry juice when I have it on hand. I began using the tart cherry extract capsules when I'm away from home, and now I've added it to my routine at home, especially when I want to avoid the fructose that comes along with tart cherry juice. For me, two capsules a day keeps the doctor away. I took a 4 month trip out of country, and ran out of the Tart Cherry Extract capsules and soon experienced an attack of Gout. That's enough to convince me that these capsules made the difference.

I have never had gout in my life, but my dad suffered from it and my son currently suffers from it and is on a maintenance medication, but I was shocked when I learned I had it, I did not have the usually symptoms of the pain and swelling in any of my toes, I already have arthritis in my knees so I assumed my pain in that area was just due to that, my symptoms were more in my shoulder and arm. I had a torn rotator cuff and underwent surgery in March for repair, but my progression was not going well, and I was having a lot of pain, after going to my primary care doctor for my regular physical my blood work came back showing my uric acid levels 7.9 he put me Colchicine. I am not big on taking medication especially ones that can damage your liver and kidneys if taken long term. So I looked for alternatives to help me maintain my gout and came across Gout and You and I have been using it for two weeks now and I have had no flare ups. I love the free book that came with it, it has helped me understand the condition a lot more and I love all the recipes because they are simple and things I already eat now.
