Flat back
Looks great! I already like the design with the flat back to attach to the fence. It’s very sturdy and well made and a great price. The hole on the bottom is a little big so it won’t work for the young ones but it should work just fine for my bigger birds. Haven’t had to use it yet, I bought it in preparation for putting my crippled girl down since I don’t know how long her leg with a slipped tendon will support her.

Good quality, a little short
I was very pleased with the quality of this cone. The edges are all folded over so nothing is sharp. However, it is a little on the short side, and if you hang it like I prefer, it dangles at an angle. So the first rooster we put in there kicked himself right out the back. I had to chase down a headless rooster. If you mount it on something so it hangs flat I think it would be fine, but it is a bummer to have it shorter and be limited in use. Our other killing cones are longer and don't have this issue. The one I bought was the perfect size for regular roosters, even my smaller banties didn't fall through the opening, tho it was close. Other than it being a little short, the rest of the cone was well made.

They will get the job done but others may be better.
I have purchased two of these cones as well as two cones that are round all the way around. I do not like these cones that have a flat side for the chickens that I process. I’ve used them for a couple years and they work but I find a lot of birds get loose from them. I have not had near as much trouble with birds falling out from the completely round cones. The round ones I use are Featherman cones. I think the Featherman ones are a little deeper than these, which makes it slightly harder to get the neck pulled through, but the birds don’t get loose near as often as these cones.
