Very good quality for the price I paid. It has a lot of pockets and the length is good too. It was a little big for my son so he had to use a belt.

Love these shorts! Run a bit larger so you might want to order a size smaller. I'm a 34 waste but they were a bit too loose in the waist. I usually buy 511 pants and shorts but the price point is a bit high. I love the the multiple pockets and pen slots. They look and feel very sturdy and should provide years of wear. Will definitely order more!

I like the number and style of pockets. The front pockets are spacious and designed like a back pocket so that your hands slip into them vertically rather than at an angle. Stuff won't slip out of the front pockets like it can with traditional pockets. Don't really care for the Velcro on the back pockets as this makes it harder to remove things. Haven't really had them long enough to evaluate their durability. Like that they are a lighter weight canvas as they are cooler than say Duluth Trading work shorts.

Water repellant, sturdy but flexible, well made.Very good hiking short, zipper phone pocket.Fit as expected, will wear a belt for knife anyhow.

I use these daily at my golf course maintenance job. Very good fit albeit a bit long. If you want a shorter fit they’re elastic so you could probably work with a size down. Otherwise great shorts. Plenty of pocket space, the front pockets are reinforced which is great of you carry a clip knife. There’s ample room between the front pocket and belt loop to accommodate a sheath knife or small sidearm without interfering with pocket access. The pen pockets are a great touch as I can carry a pen, sharpie, and skinny vape pen comfortably without them shifting around constantly. Small cargo pocket fits a box of cigarettes and a lighter like a glove. Hook and loop morale patch platform is a neat touch. Cell phone pocket provides excellent access when seated. Great if you drive equipment all day like me. Big cargo pocket is plenty large for anything else you need to carry on you. I highly recommend these if you’re looking for a great utility short.

These shorts fit well and look like they'll stand up to everything you can throw at them. They're genuine rip-stop material top to bottom and have the spill-proof treatment most Free Soldier pants have which is awesome. The hit at the knee which is great - I hate shorts that are too far above or below the knee; these are perfect. The 3 pen slots and plenty of pockets are helpful for whatever you're doing.

I love these shorts. I've ordered them a few times. But every pair the back pockets are essentially worthless. The stitching comes out and anything that you try to put in them is gone. I haven't tried fixing it yet. But this last pair the back pockets didn't last a week. I still think they are great shorts though.

I was searching for shirts that wouldn’t look like redneck shorts but would give me the convenience of them. These are them! One big pocket for all my necessary man stuff, but they still look fashionable enough to not look like a redneck.I bought 5 pairs, they are great.

So the shorts ARE good. Feels sturdy and fits pretty damn well.Do note however that between the color choices there can be other differences. One pair had pocket closures without velcro and others did. So be warned that there's some slight differences such as how the pockets are enclosed and some other smaller details.
