When the bucked arrived I was concerned when I noticed the box was banged up and the bucket itself had a dent and was out of round (impossible to set the lid correctly), thankfully the metal is thin and pliable enough to easily pop out the dent and squeeze it back to round.That being said, I'll be curious to know how it will hold up for my usage (holding dog waste, in a plastic liner, between trash pick up days). I fear the moisture will be its downfall. It is made of very thin and cheap metal. I do think it was over priced and if I lived in a fire place region I probably could have found a better deal in a local store......but it suited my needs and the dogs refused to stop doing their business until I could find a better deal.

I needed an outdoor trash receptacle for dog poop bags because I keep my large trash bins in the garage and don’t want to smell dog poop in the summer heat in my garage! This can works perfectly! Stylish and good quality. I don’t use the shovel that came with it.

It was a gift for people with the outdoor covered fireplace.Was looking for a more attractive brass ash bucket.Alas, couldn’t find it.This is not the most handsome, but very functional and practical
