Q: Would this case fit my new hp pavilion 13.3" fhd or should i go for the one size up? i want a snug fit and not to move around in it too much...

If you want a snug fit this should be good. Our Lenovo Thinkpad X1 fits into it easily and would rattle around in a bigger one. We are actually able to put the power cord and transformer and mouse into the outside pocket, which is a nice convenience, if you don't mind a little extra bulk.

Keep in mind your laptop dimensions. No only must it be below 15.6”; but, is also needs to be relatively thin, that is, under 3/4”. Personally, this is the second case I have bought from NIDOO. I do not like the fabric used on the one with the vertical pocket. The first one was much better with the horizontal pocket. If the zctual Chromebook is the ASUS Spin 713 Chromebook, then the dimensions (11 x 9 x 0.7 inches) will fit inside the case.
