ROTHCOSpec Ops Fleece Jacket – Great for Cold Weather and Outdoor Field Use – Thermal Insulation from The Elements

I'm in the USAF and I bought this hoping it'd be Coyote Brown like we need - along with high quality. NOTE: This does NOT have the velcro placements for name/USAF/rank. I paid $6 for alterations to sew them on. WELL WORTH IT!!! This is a THICK fleece and beats the crap at the BX/PX by price AND quality! The color is Coyote Brown like we need and it's comfortable!!! FAR better than looking like a Wookie with the furry issued type we get. I'll DEFINITELY purchase a few more. Check my other review for the waffle undershirt. If you buy these two, you'll be VERY warm -- AND IN REGS W/ THE NEW AFI!!! The new AFI says Coyote Brown, not the specific STYLE. Just like AFSOC uses Crye OCPs, you can use a different style as long as it meets the AFI standards. THIS DOES.

I’m going to start by the positive: it is warm ,it keeps you warm.Now what I didn’t like:Have you seen the pictures I bought a 2XX , I am 5’9” 250 lbs , thought it would fit comfortably, but is weird because certain parts fit well and others don’t, for instance, the arms are too long but get narrow as it goes up the shoulder so if u have big arms get a bigger one problem is you also will need to have longer arms, then the neck area is slightly larger on the left side as shown in picture that really bothered me , no way to fix that except wearing it zipped up always. My final Disappointment and nothing to do about it either is that the fabric it’s an excellent hair “magnet” never thought about that! Stupid me! I play a lot with met with my dogs outside in the cold and then I get every single hair on the jacket, very annoying, if I sit where my cat was wearing the jacket I will attract every hair in there, so hid this advice; if you have fury friends forget about it!

Perfect fit. Looks better than anticipated and useful to about a nice clear day in LA with little wind and about 70 degrees. My only complaint is that it does not have a lower side zipper for open carry but otherwise perfect for any type of wear during performance of out door job. No issues with craftsmanship other than previously stated. Zippers all work. Pockets for storage are great. Happy with this jacket. 5’9 218lbs athletic build.

I thought the imagery looked pretty sharp in the advertisement, but wow is this thing ugly. I'm not a fashion model, just a normal dude who is in the army. I'm used to wearing some pretty dumb looking things, but this takes the cake. When you put it on, the weird little patches on the sleeves push to the front of your arms. Am I suppose to put my girl scout patches on these ? The shoulders dont fit right, which pulls the arm sleeves all wonkey. Overall, poorly designed. I am stationed in Germany and will donate it to the homeless. Hopefully it is better in function than it is in presentation

I’ve gone through many jackets working security over the years and this one is by far the best I’ve ever had. The inside is warm for cold weather but doesn’t get too hot if you’re wearing it inside. I am 5’10 230lbs and an XL was perfect for me being that I have broad shoulders. If you’re taller I would recommend you ordering a 2X because it doesn’t run long. It’s not too bulky and you have great movement with it on as well.
