I have been using Snow's chopped clams for years and over this time the quality has remained excellent. I use these clams primarily for making large batches of white clam sauce, a family favorite. I've tried other brands but Snow's have proven to be the best in terms of taste, chopped size, and value. The large cans are far more convenient than the usual grocery store small cans. Outstanding product.

These were absolutely perfect for chowder and delicious!I was so impressed with the quality and flavor. Also, if you have a recipe needing clam juice, this has at least a bottle's worth inside, so you can save a bit, for something like a Cioppino, which is already going to be expensive!That's the downside too though... most of the weight is juice, not clam meat. Still it's a lot of meat for a decent price - good for a full 16 qt batch of cioppino when you add some other seafood to complement.

Love these clams, I use nothing else for clam chowder and seafood pasta and cheaper than the local grocery store
