Stop wasting time and buy this ! Then the fun begins
First real camera and I am in love. I love the sound the shutter makes, the sound the different controls make and how easy it is to transfer the photos via bluetooth and WiFi to my photos app. Love being able to switch lenses and adding VND and such filters. I had outgrown my Iphone and this is a big next step. Someday my daughter will own this camera is how I feel bc its well put together and I never leave home without it.

Great Camera
There is something to be said about the tactile sensation of a real camera that can't be replicated with a smartphone.i recently purchased the EOS R10 to document construction projects at work and also to shoot recreationally. If you are a beginner, the camera has many settings and special effects but can also be used with the A+ automatic setting without diving too much into the operation manual. The user interface, quality of the photos, and quality of the physical camera body and lens are top notch (Made in Japan). My only issue is the Wifi transfer is extremely slow so best to use a cable to transfer photos directly to your computer. Great camera overall and super happy with my purchase!

Fantastic Camera - 18-45mm Lens, eh not so much
The 18-45mm lens is good. But the 18-150mm lens is much better. I returned the R10 w/18-45mm lens and bought the R10 w/18-150mm lens. Check out the reviews on YouTube to determine which kit lens suits you. At this time, there aren't a lot of cropped sensor lenses with the RF lens mount. You can purchase reasonably priced adapters for EF mount to open up lens choices. We're expecting at least a couple of new lenses this year from Canon for the R10 and R7. The R10 is without question a great camera for just about any situation! The R10 is basically the R7 without the in-body stabilization. That said, the R10 stabilization is very very good.

Quality Camera with a lot of great features
I have had the camera less than a week and I am only writing this to advise others about non-Canon EF lenses. I purchased this with the 18-45mm for use indoors. I planned to use my Tamron EF 18-400mm lens for travel. I purchased Canon's R to EF adapter. The Tamron lens, with the adapter, connected to the R10 just fine. The issue, as I discovered the hard way, is the R10's autofocus system is not compatible with the Tamron's. The lens would try a couple of times to focus, then stop with an out of focus scene. I have returned the adapter and ordered Canon's R 100-400mm lens for travel. Will try to add more in a month or so after I have spend more time using the camera and the 2 Canon lenes.
