Horizontal Sideways Leather Belt Clip Case Cover Pouch Holster for Samsung Galaxy S5

It's perfect. The belt clip seems plenty strong. I won't be using the belt loops that are also on the case (the way I use the case I don't need them), but they too seem completely adequate, though if you wear belts wider than an inch and a half, or maybe an inch and 5/8, you probably won't be able to use the belt loops. Again the clip seems plenty strong and should work with a belt of any width. The magnetic clip on the case is in the Goldilocks zone -- neither too strong nor too weak. I don't have any protectors on my Samsung S5, so there's plenty of room for me to reach in and retrieve the phone (some might think the case is too big, but I don't), and I assume that if I did have some sort of protective case around the phone that it would still fit in the leather case easily because of the extra room. I'll admit that I thought this would be cheap junk that would only last a few months, but it's far, far, far better than that.It's not often that I buy something "blind" and totally like it, but I like this case.Update 20 months later: The leather has come off the clip, and I did, many months ago, add Gorilla Glue to the case where it joins the clip (just to be safe), but it's still doing what I wanted it to do. I wear it every day and it provides reasonable protection for my Samsung Galaxy S5.

I got this for my new Galaxy S5. The quality seems to be good. The phone, with an Urban Armor Gear case, fits well, a bit loose, but I'd rather it be a bit loose that so tight I can barely get the phone out. I wish the magnets were a bit stronger on the flap, but they should be OK. Overall, for less than $6.00, I think it's a pretty good deal on the case.(Shipping with UPS, with whom I'm usually happy, was messed up, but thanks to Amazon intervention, I did get it timely. No influence on the rating, just a jab at UPS. They've recently screwed up another delivery, two in a row.)

Only lasted about 9 months, but considering the price, I just bought another one. I wear it every day to work, to the beach, working around the house, etc. I am not exactly easy on it. If you think you can find cheaper that lasts longer, then good luck. If you feel a more expensive on that will outlast your current phone is a better option, go for it. But for me, this makes sense. Especially since I will probably upgrade phones before this second one tears up.

It is big enough to hold my Galaxy 5S Active in a case pretty comfortably, but that's the only reason to like it. I bought one along with another case a year and a half ago in case one didn't fit the phone, hopefully the other would. They both fit, but I went with the other one and that lasted about a year, before the side ripped, and I switched to this one that I still kept. It lasted about a month before the clip came off. I went with my phone in my pocket for awhile, but I hate carrying it there while working, so I went back into my order history and thought I ordered the other one again, but this one is the one that arrived. My mistake. I tried it, thinking maybe I just got a defective one. About a month later, the clip came off again. In my opinion this is junk, and could possibly be made better with an extra rivet in the clip to reinforce it, but one just is not enough.

I have a galaxy s5 with an Outerbox Defender case. I tried three different pouches . One is this one , "Leather Case with Magnetic closure with belt clip and belt loops FOR Samsung Galaxy S5 will FIT w/ Otterbox Commuter on Super XXL Horizontalby Thunder" . The second is"Samsung Galaxy S 5 S5 Premium Leather Pouch Case Holster Cover - Secure Belt Clip with 2 Belt Loops (Plus Size For Samsung Galaxy S5 with Otterbox Case On)by Debin" The third is "Premium Samsung Galaxy S5 S 5 Leather Belt Clip Pouch Case Cover Holster (Fits Samsung Galaxy S 5 with otterbox case / Lifeproof case on)" Only the last of the three fit. It has both a clip and two loops that seem to be quite secure I took one star off because when you close the flap, I did not feel the comforting click of the magnet that other pouches have but it does seem to close securely. On the other hand the flap on the one reviewed here did not close securely at all.

This case is well made and fits my Samsung Galaxy S5. The good things about it are that it doesn't poke my leg when I sit down, the way the vertical case does and it attaches to a belt quite securely. However, I usually wear sweaters that hang below my waist and the case is wide enough to make the sweaters look strange. That's not the fault of the case, just the way I wear it.

Fits me well and phone with case fits in with no problem, even a little extra room which I like as I don't have to work or tug to get it out. Does not flap around in the case, might without the case not sure. As with any belt loop case I recommend being careful when putting it in or taking off the belt. Stitching is always easy to rip if you are too rugged. I have been using for about a month and no issues with wear on the belt loops so this seems good. Would purchase again.
