TYC 1451 Radiator Compatible with 1992-1997 Ford Pickup

I was concerned it would be the single row and more narrow than the factory unit. But it was a perfect drop-in - same thickness, same mounts. I can’t comment on the trans cooler lines because mine is a ZF5, so I left the plugs in it. The hardware bag it comes with that has the trans cooler fittings in it also has the spring clips for the fan shroud in it. You’ll need to pop those one before install. And you’ll reuse the threaded spring clips from your old radiator to mount the top of the shroud. Easy swap. Four bolts, some clips, some hose clamps, and it took me longer to drain the old coolant than to pull the old radiator and install the new one.

Radiator fits fine in my 96 bronco and I was glad to see fan shroud clips in the parts bag HOWEVER! The holes for the shroud clips are WAY off. If the clips are moved outboard then they will contact and hold the shroud but it also drops down enough to come in contact with the fan. There are also no holes for the upper shroud bolts.For those who have mounted this in a 96 or 97 F series or bronco, how did you get around this?

radiator replacement other was broken, this one i got was above and beyond!!! seriously like 4 core fit in like factory, did the replacement in like 15min highly recommend!!! even if you are running a track race car its right!!!!

Item was described well but in the pics you cannot see that it has 2 nipples for overflow hose and my truck only had 1 hose. I am trying to figure out how to plug the one hole. Aside from that, fast shipping, good quality, and it did fit the original.

Seems to work great! I put it in my 1994 F250 with a 5.8/5-speed and A/C. I needed to get a vacuum plug and a couple of brass caps to seal it up and work for my application. Great for the price!

I put this in a 1994 Ford F-150 step side with 235,000 miles. It is an XLT Ford with a standard transmission. I had to plug the oil cooler holes on the radiator, no big deal. It fit well with only one modification. It easily dropped in place. It has been 6 months now and no issues. Highly recommend this product.

It works great. drop in. comes with all the new hardware you'll need. Trans cooler line is leaking a drop every few days but it went away after I double checked the tightness.
