For reference I bought the 4 camera, 1TB kit.Ignore the Xmas decs mess lol.Has to ask my tradey neighbour to drill walls etc for me - took like half an hour. Fourth camera not decided where to use yet.See the pics - they work really well.Since install we have had frosts and torrential wind/rain. The cameras were not phased by this.The night vision is particularly impressive.Bit clunky software - there is probably a software update but as it works, I'm not bothered.Worked out of the box. Replaced the mouse with a better one but that's my preference.Had to turn off the 'need password everytime' as it's annoying with a long password. Turned off notifiactions also. If you don't you will have hundreds a day - like every car that goes past etc. For me that does not defeat the object as I'm nearly always around.The app works well too - can cycle through the cameras from wherever I may be out and about. It was easy to connect the app to my system too - follow the instructions and you will be ok.Playback, FF and rewind all work great - it's like having your own proffesional outfit at home. Has connections for 4 more cameras too. You can view single camera on screen, 2 cameras, 2+2 and so on also.I had tried a few wireless rubbish cameras - the facts are that yes - just ask a neighbour/mate etc to drill and fit the cameras, run and tack them for you - and it's done. You pay whatever you need to. It's a very easy job for a tradey/handyman etc. I have no ladders etc, but you can easily do it yourself if competent.I am so glad I chose this kit out of the 1.45 million on Amazon. I really am.I have a lot of PC equipment etc, so I am using the cameras on a 21" monitor and it's about the right size I would say.It arrives very quickly due to being from Amazon. It's packed superbly - really proffesional box and packaging to stop damage.If you want you can change the drive to a bigger capacity (it's simply SATA powered) - also if you buy the NO HDD option it's simple to put one in. The 1TB version is plenty to be honest - unless you want to keep stuff for weeks you don't need a bigger drive.If a disaster happens to them in a month or 2 I shall update the review but for now it's a firm 5*.

The item is fantastic - 4 cameras and enough cable to run from one end of the house to the other. It's easy to use, and has already proved its worth.Cameras are a good picture and video quality in all light conditions, and you can view either from the box, on a computer or through a phone app.

This is a "late review for this system intentionally"Arrived 23/01/15 couple of days after ordering. Installed a couple of days later. I have no idea in regards to CCTV systems. However this system is literally plug and play. The hardest part labour wise was running the cables. All cameras fired up no problem. However the operating manual leaves a lot to be desired. This really needs to be reworked and made user friendly which at the moment or should I say when I bought the system it was not.But by looking at the menu and clicking away I got the date changed etc. Just experiment. As long as you don't click save etc until you know thats what you want, you can't hurt the system and write down anything you are changing so if it's wrong, you can go back in a reset it. Movement detection I turned off as too sensitive for my installation. Excellent for indoor use or allyway etc.Prior to buying this system I read all the reviews good and bad so I could make an informed choice. One review I read stated that a camera had stopped switching to infa red/black and white at night and low and behold guess what happened to me. I swopped around a camera to check, and the one I switched worked. So I contacted the company re faulty camera. SANNCE were fantastic they sent me pictures showing me how to check the camera, I checked emailed them back with pictures showing them what I was doing. They emailed back stating that a new one would be sent. But it transpired I did not need a new camera. The problem was where I positioned the camera in the garden where I had a lone standing guarden light 60watt bulb. Although The camera was not facing the light but caught the glow from the side. It was enought to confuse the infa red eye that it was still daylight. Switched the garden light off and hey presto . The camera immediately switched from colour daylight mode to black and white night mode.And believe it or not I found this out when I was standing in the kitchen and my garden lights came on an a timer and I had one of those light bulb moments " I wonder" and it was!!! Needless to say changed the 60watt for a 40watt and everything is good. Informed SANNCE of my mistake.So infairness cannot fault the system (apart from the instruction manual) but knew that as many of the reviews say this. Thought I had a problem, communication with the company was brilliant and happy to help and resolve the issue.If your interested in this system READ ALL THE REVIEWS GOOD AND BAD AND MAKE YOUR OWN INFORMED CHOICE I for one cannot fault the system or the company.

Great coverage and robust system. easy to install and commission. My parents were so impressed that they got me to install the system at their place as well.

I received this replacement system after the previous one failed with the HDD being non responsive.This model had slightly changed in it's setting up procedure. The new manufactured installed HDD was non responsive too. After spending hours trying to wade through all technical jargon and many unintelligible pages of setting up, I gave up and sent it back.It's old technology now and it shows.Maybe if you're a tech genius it's easy, but to anyone else, beware.
