Gorilla Epoxy 25ml

I recently used this Gorilla Epoxy for a DIY repair project, and overall, I’m very impressed with its performance and versatility. I needed to fix a broken ceramic vase, and the epoxy delivered a strong, clear, and lasting bond.One of the things I appreciate most is the dual syringe design. It makes dispensing the resin and hardener in equal amounts straightforward, ensuring the correct mix every time. This design, along with the easy-to-use syringe, minimizes waste and makes the whole process feel very precise. The clear finish it dries to is a big plus if you’re working on visible surfaces.The working time is generous—about 5 minutes of open time—which allows you to reposition parts if needed. I found that the epoxy begins to set in around 5 minutes, with a noticeable firming up at 30 minutes. However, for full strength, you should clamp or support your project for 30 minutes and let it cure completely for 24 hours.For best results, make sure to follow the preparation instructions: clean and dry all surfaces thoroughly, and lightly sand smooth areas to improve adhesion. Also, if you’re working in a warmer environment, be aware that the epoxy might set a little faster, so plan accordingly.A couple of things to note: While this epoxy works excellently on ceramics, stone, metal, and many plastics (after proper surface prep), it isn’t recommended for PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, or certain types of rubber. Also, mixing and application require a bit of attention—once the reaction starts, you won’t have the option to pause, so it’s best to have everything ready before you begin.All in all, if you’re looking for a reliable, crystal-clear epoxy that fills gaps and bonds uneven surfaces, this product is a solid choice. It’s been a game-changer for my household repairs, and I’d recommend it for crafting or any project where a strong, durable bond is needed.

Great item with a great hold easy to mix but definitely need to read the instructions before you do it comes with a handy little tray to mix it in.

Super useful having the epoxy and hardener in one syringe, have to be quick to use once mixed as goes hard really quick and also be prepared for it to get a little messy and goes sticky very quickly. I would recommend using on horizontal surface rather then vertical as it will just run down and not stay in holes.

Definitely the strongest strength it hardens in no time . It’s super effective at fixing breakages. There isn’t too much of a bad smell. It’s really easy to use and it bonds great. I’ve had cheaper resin glues that you don’t get to use all the glue but with gorilla glue it lasted ages

Easy to use and sticks!

I aways use this brand of epoy resin these days as it is so convenient to use. I particulaly like the way that the double tube and plunger ensures that you always get the correct amount of hardener/resin ratio. I find the glue works for most purposes I have tried it on. The only time I have had problems was when I tried sticking together very smooth or greasy surfaces. Give such surfaces a really good clean and on awkward surfaces a slight sanding with 'wet n dry' sandpaper, just to rough up the surfaces, and I find that usally solves the problem. I recommend wearing gloves and a disposable mixing surface. I use old plastic trays from microvaeanble meals! This will aviod getting the glue on surfaces you did not intend!

I have found that correct mixing is vital for fast setting and ultimate strength. The pack is designed as a double syringe such that equal parts of adhesive and hardener are dispensed at the same time, thus making the required 50/50 mix. This works OK the first time that you use it, but after that one of the holes is parially bunged up, so the mix goes all wrong. De-bunging and messing about wastes a lot of glue. With the corect mix the glue is strong and transparent, with an initial set around 5 - 10 minutes, but the bond remains weak until about 24 hours + has elapsed, as I've found to my cost on a couple of occasions. Stress the joint too early and you are back to square one. In summary it's OK, but not wonderful in my opinion.
