Yes, PoE (Power over Ethernet ) cameras can get power supply and the network from Reolink NVR via only one Ethernet cable. Setup can be done within minutes.

Q: What is the maximum length of the cable between the NVR and the PoE cameras?

The length must not exceed 80 meters for CAT5 cables. For CAT6 or more advanced cables, the length can be up to 100 meters.

Q: Can it work without the Internet?

Yes, all Reolink PoE systems can work offline. However, in this condition, you will be unable to access the system remotely via Reolink App/Client.

Q: Can I add cameras of different types to this system?

Yes, you can add any Reolink PoE or DC-powered WiFi cameras, doorbells, and other devices to the system. However, we don’t recommend you add any third-party cameras to it since compatibility issues may occur.

Q: Does this CCTV system support Time-Lapse function?

The B500 cameras do not support the Time-Lapse. If you connect these cameras to the NVR, the time-lapse function cannot be used on the cameras or the NVR.
