Played this on Boxing day with the family. Really enjoyed the storyline, the selection / depth of evidence and the time it took to complete. Still missed a couple of minor clues but got the killer's identity correct. Definitely worth the money, the pack is put together very well and makes the experience feel authentic and fun. Very happy with the purchase and looking to get another one!!

So good! Very fun and gets people together for a few hrs. it’s so exciting when you finally piece things together!! The storyline was great and the clues weren’t too easy but everything you needed was there. Really good for the price.The customer service has also been amazing - such a lovely family run business!Really really enjoyed this one definitely getting more soon!!

Perfect way to bring in the New Year, a murder mystery night. It was great fun, lasted us hours and is amazingly well laid out and designed, we were still doubting ourselves right up to the end but got there and solved it! You need to take your time and read everything, even the fine print and information you wouldn't think is relevant. The online element was great fun too, bit of a game within a game but integral to the wider process.Bought another already and will check out more so bring them on!!

This is the second one we’ve done. Really brilliant family/couples/single activity. You don’t really know what you’re looking for so need to take note of everything! Excellent value during spring sale but would happily pay full price as it’s a great way to gather teenagers together for a family activity for a couple of hours! Really love that you are working with each other to solve the mystery rather than against. Everyone enjoyed but there is a lot of reading which did put my dyslexic son off! Not too difficult, we didn’t need any clues on this one.

We had a very enjoyable evening playing this game.This one would really suit a beginner who hasn't played any of these police file games before.The evidence is really well put together and we found the killer quite easily by working out the suspects and deciphering their Alibi's, a real process of elimination leads you straight to the killer which is great.Although, I have to say this was the first police file game i've played by this maker.The previous police file game i played was by hidden cases and the evidence, websites and phone calls were far superior in the hidden cases one, also in the hidden cases file you also had to work out, not just the killer but the motive, and who sent certain pieces of information, which was much more fun and made the game a worthier win.The evidence in this game was quite mediocre, like photocopied pieces of paper, wheras hidden games you get a poster you can put up as your police board and a calender along with much higher quality evidence, and for the same price i paid for this one.All in all I would 100% reccomend this police file, especially to people who like true crime or anyone whoose secretly always wanted to be a detective.The best thing about this game is we didn't need to write on anything so the game can easily be passed on to family or friends for them to also play, which makes it better than the hidden cases as you can only play that one once.I'm looking forward to getting my next one from this maker, i'm going to try a harder one as this was 3.5 stars difficulty and we didn't need to take any hints at all, it all went together quite easiy and we came to the correct conclusion and found the killer, but i prefer a bit more of a challange...

This is the second cryptic killers pack we have done and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed it more than the first! Really good quality materials and love the fact that it is interactive and you have to use online information as well as just the paper information. It took myself and my partner about 2 hours to go through all the evidence and solve the case. It was a really fun evening and I definitely will be buying more! I think it’s great that if you are stuck they do provide clues online although we didn’t have to use any this time. If you like murder mysteries than you will love this game!

I bought this for the Christmas after-dinner entertainment and played it with the family. This was an engaging and intriguing mystery, set up in such a way as to make us feel like real detectives! We loved it, and the interactivity really made it. It took us 2.5 hours to solve and we had a great time doing so. I'd definitely recommend for family or friends gatherings or game nights - great entertainment for a great price!
