I was initially concerned about wobblyness (technical term!) of the moving parts causing a problem in high winds, but this doesn't seem to be an issue. I have two cameras installed ~4 metres high up a tree where they'll see plenty of wind. We've had a bit of blustery weather for the past two days and the image has remained rock-solid so I believe my concern was unwarranted. The picture is great, the controls work fine. I have it installed on an old Swann DVR8-4580G and it works great.

Great product and easy to install and to use

I got this camera as it was one of the cheapest movable cams I seen. The picture is reasonable, it not the sharpest quality but it good enough. The camera movement is good and easy to use with phone app. Camera is worth the money. My CCTV system was already set up before I got this camera so it was just a case of plug in and go, download phone app to be able to move cam and that was it. Easy.

Could someone please answer me this. Why after only 24 hours the tilt mechanism has decided not to tilt ? A simple enough installation to my set up yet it worked for a while, now it doesn’t. It still pans well enough. I will be contacting the sellers. Any takers on my question?. I would greatly appreciate it.

Brilliant value, as described

First of all this is a great camera for a reasonable price. Annke are one of the leading brands for security hardware and you can feel the build quality when unpacking this item, however, these high quality products are not really intended for the home user. To use this camera you will need a DVR device, ideally one with plenty of hard disc space for recording. The DVR also needs to have co-axial input and if you want to access the feed on your smart device remotely then you will also need an app that is compatible with your DVR device. To break it down simply, this is not plug and play, you can't just download an app onto your phone and view a livestream, you are going to need further hardware. There are ways around this, you could transform a PC into a dedicated DVR with capture cards etc. but ultimately there's no getting around that this device is intended for use in more official/professional environments.If you happen to own your own grocery store for example then this camera will certainly afford you with high quality coverage with great image resolution which can result in a higher probability of prosecutions if required.

Excellent service and does what it says on the tin

The media could not be loaded. I'm really happy with this little camera. It's very easy to install. Simply connect it straight to your camera port on your dvr. There's no need for any extra wires as the signal to move the camera is sent down the existing coaxial cable. It supports many different dvr protocols and it is plug and play with most makes of dvr.I like the design of it it's small enough for any corner. It'll last a while with the weather too. The picture quality is very smooth during movement of the camera in all directions. Night mode is also very clear and with a near 360° turning angle you get all round security.I highly reccomend this it's such a great price too. Thankyou!
