You wright; the socket won't fit in the pulley tool. Take a regular 19 mm socket if you're using the pulley holding socket. Use the heavy 19 mm socket with a 1/2" impact gun. The rest is easy. I done the job and this tool worked fine.

1st for all of those saying they don't fit together, they're not supposed to the heavy 19mm socket is for removing the harmonic balancer bolt and the other tool is to hold it in place when reinstalling the new part.They both worked great when used as designed. Actually only had an old dewalt corded impact that has enough torque to break free lug nuts about 50% of the time. With this heavy socket I was able to remove the bolt on the harmonic balancer on a 2007 honda odyssey with ease. Definitely worth the money!!!

I watched videos of this heavy duty socket and pulley holder, and was impressed how well it worked. I did not even try to use my regular socket, but rather used this heavy socket with my impact wrench, and the pulley nut immediately came off. The pulley holder was great for tensioning the bolt when the job is done. It is important to note that this socket is not intended to be used with the pulley holder, but rather used alone, because there is enough force to simply remove the number without holding the pulley.

Poor quality tools, hex balancer holder very sloppy when 1/2" breaker bar is inserted. 19mm socket too wide to fit within the balancer hex holder as they properly should. 1.7L VTECH engine can only rotate counterclockwise to avoid "Interference" of valves slapping into the pistons causing major damage or replacement of motor. Most other Amazon listings of this 2pc. set do function properly as the 19mm socket does properly fit within the balancer hex holder as they should. Design Flaw, useless poor-quality tools, and lack of knowledge or care by the seller. BETOOLL sells this set on amazon for a buck less than I paid for this, AND the socket properly fits within the balancer hex tool holder.
