I had been told that this was a solid cutter for model work, but had been on the fence until recently. I took the plunge and bought one, and while I will not be getting rid of my old double blade type cutter, this replaces it for all but the most brute force work or over sized pieces. I have been use to having to force the old cutter through materiel, but this just easily slipped through plastic with almost negligible effort. The cuts are very clean, without the stress, bulge, or pucker scars i am used to from my old cutter, making finishing and clean up so much easier.The cutters came with a microfiber cloth to clean them, a cover to protect them, and a magnetized box to store them that also holds the instructions. Do take the time to look them over as it will improve the level of precision you will get when cutting.Ruitool sent me an email, thanking me for the purchase and giving more advice, a little thing, and likely automated, however, in this day and age that is a big bit of customer service that has fallen to the wayside. I plan on buying more of my hobby tools from them in the future due to these factors (Product comfort, product precision, company interaction, and value for dolor.)

These RUITOOL nippers have been an absolute lifesaver!Here's a breakdown:Sharp and precise: These nippers cut through plastic like butter, leaving a clean edge with minimal stress marks. No more ugly nub marks ruining my builds!Comfortable grip: The handles are surprisingly comfortable, even after a long building session. My hands didn't cramp up at all.Durable: They feel sturdy and well-made. I've been using them for a few weeks now, and they're still as sharp as the day I got them.Great for beginners: These nippers are easy to control and make clean cuts a breeze, even for someone with shaky hands like me.Excellent value: For the price, these nippers are an absolute steal. They perform just as well as some of the more expensive brands.These are a fantastic choice and have made building so much more enjoyable.

I recently got back into gunpla after a twenty year hiatus. I was trying to keep my tool kit and overall expenses at a minimum so I dismissed the thought of a second pair of nippers, I was absolutely wrong! I decided to give these a try because they had great reviews and were very reasonably priced. This ha e absolutely changed the game for me and have made my overall workflow much quicker, easier, and cleaner. They are very well built, high quality, and sharp. They make a clean smooth cut that is very precise. If you take your time to use these appropriately you won't even need to use a knife/hobby blade and you will need very minimal sanding. One important piece of information: these do not replace your regular thick "cheap" nippers, you still want to use those to make the initial cut off the runner. These are used for a second cut to remove the remaining nub left on the part. You may ask yourself why you need a second pair of nippers but the blade on these is much thinner, sharper, and flatter. They cut the nub flush on the part without damage. Just a small amount of light sanding and you are ready to move on. With the simple addition of these nippers I was able to prep all the parts for an entire HG gunpla kit in about 20 minutes, this previously took a few hours with a hobby knife and multiple rounds of sanding.

•NOT FOR CRAFTERS•My 13 year old son Is into Gundam creating and 3d printing crafts. I bought it full price and don’t regret it but would definitely recommend getting them when on sale.They are pretty thin and sharp so They work best with thin bits and softer plastics, struggle a bit anything thicker than linguine pasta thickness, and will break with metal. (Source: He tried to cut through thin wiring) Definitely would not work for the wife’s crafting.Comfort and size is good for most palms. Will definitely need adjusting on fingers if hand/palm size is bigger.

Arrived missing a 1/2 of the teeth. Immaculate case and cover, but quality control completely shipped a broken product.edit: They sent me out a replacement quickly and the nippers actually work very well. I'm impressed. My review went from 1 star to 5 stars because these things are actually a gamechanger. They slice the plastic incredibly thinly, allowing you to effortlessly cut the pieces from the sprue, entirely flush with the model. It winds up saving a ton of work and headache. The thing with most nippers is it actually mashes the plastic at the contact point instead of merely cutting it. So normally you have to be super careful (like with the base model Citadel nippers, for instance), and when you inevitably clip the part wrong, it either leaves a hole, or it bends and warps the the plastic due to being smushed. So yeah, these are like having the leverage to send a razor blade clean through the contact point. I have to say these are an actual game changer. No hyperbole, they really are.I'm clipping and building an average of 10 Warhammer minis a day, so these have instantly made the experience easier and enjoyable. I clipped two Necrons so far and I'm immediately shocked. If you do happen to get a complete and functional pair, you'll be glad you bought these.

These things cut butter smooth. I’ve used them on a few HG kits by now and it has been smooth sailing throughout, leaving little to no stress. It only leaves slightly more stress than a Godhand SPN-120, which for the price point is more than worth it.

Very well made and comes in a nice case with a sleeve to protect the clippers. Looks really good and feels great while clipping model pieces. I used it for building Gunpla. I would recommend this item as it worked a lot better then the cheap pair I had been using.
