Does the Job

Only partially useful
It doesn't produce enough power to enable all functionality on my Nikon Z7 in video mode when connected to my PC the Nikon Webcam didn't detect the camera, on battery power it does

Perfect for Nikon Z7
My PSU arrived the day before I was booked in for some online examinations which required a webcam and I'd decided to use my Nikon Z7. I tested it for five hours that day without problems and the camera ran for six hours on the exam day without a glitch. I was using the Nikon Webcam Utility for Mac OS. Perfect pairing.

Great cost effective way of adding AC power to my dslr. Works exactly as expected. No issues at all. Cables are a decent length. Very happy with it.

Great value, works, no problems
Works perfectly in my D810, have been using it all week for 7+hr time lapse sequences that I couldn’t have powered overnight on the camera battery.Good value, seems good quality, and works.

Something exploded inside the transformer when I powered it on
After quickly plugging the few wires together I plugged into the mains power and then powered on at the wall. I was holding the transformer and thankfully it was strong enough to contain whatever exploded/popped within the case. I felt and heard it go, then smelt a small amount of burning. Whatever happened tripped the fuse for the house sockets as well. Safe to say I'll be returning the dummy battery set as I don't want to even try powering it on again. Thankfully I didn't have my camera attached so no damage done there.
