Great Truck but not quite 1/18 scale
This is a very nice truck. In terms of scale, the box does say 1/18, but my 1/18 action figures do not fit inside. There isn't enough legroom under the dash, and the roof isn't quite tall enough. The figures look appropriate sized standing next to the truck, and sitting in the bed, but unfortunately they can't fit inside. I'll still keep it. I'll either try and carve out some legroom, or I'll just use it in the background.

Nostalgia from a space in time.
My Dad bought this truck in 1978. It was a different color and I purchased this one for a replica of the truck that I rode in all throughout my childhood. It took a long time for a decent version to arrive. I blame Sam Walton and I am glad he bought one, or we may still be waiting for a detailed, dent side replica.
