I honestly think that you wouldn't be able to beat this projector for the price:

This is honestly such a great projector for the price. I wanted an inexpensive projector to use with my blow-up outdoor movie screen, and to use in my cigar room when the weather outside isn't as good. With the Anker battery pack, blow-up screen, and portable speakers I can literally set this up anywhere in 5 minutes and have an outdoor theater. I'd also like to give a shout-out to their customer service, who was incredibly responsive and helpful. The cooling fan inside got a bit off-balance and would often make a loud noise, and they immediately sent me another one, then just had me ship the original one back in the box (I didn't have to ship mine in first and be without it). They followed up, they made sure I was happy, I'm very happy with them. Now, for the pros and cons:Pros:This is lightweight, but still solidly built. It doesn't feel cheap. The auto-focus and auto-keystone both work really well (although the lights really need to be off before you turn it on or it won't work as well). If you need to, though, you can easily and accurately focus it with the remote. It can rear-project (which I do with the outdoor blow-up screen), front-project, and project upside-down (to mount on the ceiling). It is partially a "smart" device, although they don't pay the licensing fees to the major networks so you'll still need something like a Fire Stick. The picture quality is very good, especially for this price. It has a USB port on it in order to power a device (like my Fire Stick).Cons:Honestly, at this price point anything I mention here is nitpicking a bit . . . but still things you would want to know before you buy. While you *can* connect it to Bluetooth speakers, if you are using it with a Fire Stick or something else plugged into HDMI, the lag is pretty annoying. This isn't really the fault of the projector, but something to plan for. I just connected my Fire Stick to the Bluetooth speakers directly, which works well. The interface on it is a little kludgy, but I only use it to reverse the image or select the input so it works fine for me.I honestly can't find anything else to fault it with. Could it be brighter? Sure, but not at this price point. In my patio with a streetlight nearby, rear projecting a 16ft image is a little on the dark side but a 10ft image in a dark room is perfect. I'm reasonably sure that a 16ft front-projected image in a dark room would be great. If I was the engineer I'd add 2 things. I would make the screw that comes out of the bottom to tilt it be designed to be a lot longer (or telescopic), the keystone limit is way above the limit of the screw. Not a big deal at all, I just put a small block under it. The second would be a video delay so that you could match the sound after going through both HDMI and Bluetooth. But neither of those things are necessary, just thoughts for future versions. To wrap up this book I've now written, if you want a basic projector for a great price with a decent warranty and great quality . . . I'd buy this one hands-down. If you have the money for a brighter 4K fully-smart device, then you aren't looking at this one. Since I move this a lot and even travel with it, I didn't want to spend a fortune on it and I couldn't be happier with it.

Cool projector

It's a great projector compared to the one I got from Walmart and the 4k is great too, I'll have to do further test to see what it could really handle.

Great, Within The Limits of Expectations

I have an Xgimi H1 in my living room, which I love very much. It's been going strong for five years, but will need to be replaced soon... hopefully by a 4K laser lifestyle projector. But first, I decided that I wanted a projector for my bedroom, and I originally picked up a Toptro X7 on Prime Day. I was pretty disappointed with it, and didn't even bother sending it back, as it could be a decent outdoor option that wouldn't mind getting beat up.After doom watching countless projector reviews, my go-to reviewer sold me on this one.I've had it for a week, and it took that long to finally figure out how to get the best out of itFirst off, the color and brightness are an IMMEDIATE upgrade. Hues were very washed out on the X7, but the Apollo displays them very well. They don't "pop", like my first-gen Xgimi, but they are at least present. The brightness is even impressive for this price range, as the images I uploaded show how well the image is visible with daylight bleeding into the room. When setting up the image, I'm very much addicted to most displays' Vivid option, but this setting is not good on the Apollo. I recommend going into Movie, and raising the brightness setting manually. How bright is up to you, but the color, temp, and contrast are perfect. This is NOT a smart projector, and it did not recognize my WD hard drive. That fact, and with only ONE HDMI input, your options are limited. I had to buy an HDMI splitter for my 4K fire stick and android TV box. If you have a receiver, that's the best option.I use Bluetooth for audio on both of my devices directly, so I have nothing to share about the projector's connectivity itself. The Toptro would disconnect frequently, so I'm already used to bypassing the projector to connect to my sound bar.I'm projecting directly onto a textured, multicolored wall, so I'm not using a screen yet. The picture still looks great, and the auto calibration features are awesome. Be careful not to significantly bump into whatever stand you have this on, as auto calibration kicks in. Appreciate it's diligence, but it could potentially be annoying. There is a Game setting, that noticably flickers the screen when switching over, which told me that a change in projection just occurred, but my attempt to play my emulator on my android box still resulted in noticable lag. The Apollo is not a great gaming option. Also, I am NOT a fan of the remote. I have to keep looking at it to make adjustments, as navigating it by feel is nearly impossible, and I highly rely on my remotes to be physically intuitive. Thankfully, I need the remote only for on/off now, as my settings are solid. It was frustrating at first, not finding the right picture settings, but once I did, my worries ended. I love this device. It's good for a bedroom setup, or a temporary replacement for a main setup in a living room.

Great Product for Value

I watched a YouTube review of this product stacked up against similarly priced projectors that were compared with a high end 4K projector. The Ultimea projector was a clear front runner against the high end 4K unit. The reviewer was astounded that it performed so well in its price class. After reviewing several other projectors I settled on this one. I have not been disappointed. Granted, it does not have the same features as a high end 4K projector but it performs very well. As a negative, I found there was latency when using a Bluetooth speaker. The sound was slightly off from the screen action. This was no problem for me because I was planning on connecting to my MacBook via USB-C, which does not have any latency issues. One of thing things that worried me a bit before making the purchase was the distance rating for the projector. My little apartment family room is slightly smaller than the projector was rated. Once I got it hooked up and pointed at my wall the projection area was larger than my wall space and even was about 6" up on the ceiling. To my amazement, and relief, the projector automatically sized the picture to my available wall space. The image fits perfectly on my wall after it does a self-adjust each time I use it. I like that! I also use external speakers, which adds better fidelity than the small speakers in the projector. The fan noise is very minimal. I don't hear it at all when watching videos. Bottom line is I have no regrets and for the price it is a terrific value. I would choose it again if I had to do it all over again. My wife thought I had paid between $500 to $1000 for it. Sweet.
