I repaired a split seam on a motorcycle seat. It hasn't been tested but it looks like it will stay in place.

Very good, fairly easy to fix a cracking area.Just be mindful around rounded edges of an arm of a leather chair, I didn’t go right to the edge, maybe 1” from the edge, to be safe.

This was used to repair the seat on my Craftsman riding mower which was cracking and was only getting worse. Sorry for not taking images of the seat prior to applying this repair tape.Prior to applying it I filled the cracked foam with small wedges (cut foam using scissors) of foam then used another product https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VX1X573/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1(see image) to seal over the gaps.I cut a piece of this tape to allow overhang so that I could trim the excess.To start I used a 3" piece of painters tape to attach it centered onto the seat.I trimmed of some along the rear using scissors.I flipped the tape up and carefully using a razor blade made a light cut on the backing paper about 1/3 down and remove it.I used heat gun to the back side of the repair tape and carefully lowered the tape down eliminating wrinkles as I did so.I used the heat gun to help eliminate wrinkles as I pulled it onto the sides.I then removed another third of the backing as before and using the same procedure lowered that onto the seat.I removed the remaining backing and using the heat gun to soften it, lowered that down.Finally I applied heat to the corner areas and pulled that down eliminating wrinkles as best that I could and trimmed off the excess.This worked great.

I purchased this to fix the chair for my home office. The leather covering for the seat was cracked and/or flaking up in several spots and I thought I would attempt a repair instead of looking for a new chair. I've used the chair for a couple of weeks since I did the repair, and I'm impressed that the patch has stayed on the chair (I was afraid it wasn't going to hold). Someone with more skill or patience than I have likely would have gotten a much better cosmetic result (I didn't include a picture because I didn't do a great job planning out how I would cut and apply the patches), but I'm very happy with the result.

I had to use 2 pieces to cover my office chair seat. it worked ok, but adhesion on the sides was not as good. I had to use silicone to get it to really stick there.
