PlayStation 5 Standard (Slim)

The PlayStation 5 Slim has been a fantastic addition to my gaming setup. Coming from the standard PS4, the difference in performance is noticeable right away. Games load incredibly fast, and the visuals are stunning. I’ve been playing games like Demon’s Souls and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and the level of detail and smooth frame rates are impressive. The compact design of the Slim version is a big plus for me, as it fits much better in my entertainment centre compared to the larger original model.The new Dual Sense controller deserves special mention. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers genuinely add to the immersion in games, making even simple actions like firing a gun or walking through different terrains feel more realistic. Backwards compatibility is another huge benefit—I’ve been able to replay a lot of my old PS4 games without any issues.That being said, the storage space is still somewhat limited if you have a large digital library, so I had to consider upgrading the SSD. But overall, the PS5 Slim is a brilliant console, providing top-tier performance in a more compact form. Highly recommended for both new and returning PlayStation gamers.

A birthday present for my son. He said the graphics are amazing & it has many more features than the PS4. He is really pleased with it. It was also a good price as on offer.

Obviously not a brand new console. I had to return it and bought one straight from Sony. Ans then I realised how much of a difference it has. First of all the HDMI cable qualities are different. Sony’s more robust, Amazon’s has a different texture, definitely softer outer shell. When you turn on the console from Amazon’s, it asks you to register the disc drive, which mine is a disc version. So obviously the system recognises the disc drive is not original built-in. Someone done something to it. Where Sony’s one doesn’t need to go through that process. Last but not least, when I installed a few games on Amazon’s console, the system already notified me that the hard disk storage already corrupted and it kept restarting and frozen non-stop in a loop. Sony’s working very well right now. In conclusion, Amazon’s is probably a refurb or even stripped and modified before. Basically scam.I strongly suggest you buy straight from Sony on their website. Do NOT get from Amazon. And the refund process is still on going for a week and no news. Very much disappointed.
