No I'm not trying to sing a song! These needles are so extremely fine you would think they would go right through the skin, but they don't. I think I'm going to end up having to throw them away. I thought it was a good value for the money, but I ended up purchasing my normal brand after getting these in a pinch. Don't waste your money, every single one gave me a bruise. Also, the needles are not labeled with a size or gauge. I get several different sizes for different meds, and also get a larger size which is this listing here. Mine are 31 gauge. .5 ml 5/16" needle. So it's not that hard to figure out who's is whose, but having to take the cap off to see which needle it is is kind of counterproductive as far as sterility if you grab the wrong one. You have to leave them in the larger box they come in, otherwise you have no idea what size they are. My other brand comes in a box of 100 that is very clearly labeled, as well as packages of 10 inside the box that are clearly labeled, and easily placed in a container with your meds. However, these came in single use little plastic sleeves with no writing on them. These are for my husband for diabetes. He had the same problem with dullness, and he has been having an issue with them bending because they don't want to go through the skin. He uses 29 gauge 1cc 1/2". Not functional, and needlessly painful.
