Seriously impressed — this stuff works!
I was a little skeptical at first, but AKT blew me away. "After Thunder" smells amazing—fresh, clean, and just the right balance of earthy and citrusy without being overpowering. It’s subtle but still noticeable in the best way. What really sold me, though, is how effective it is. I’ve used natural deodorants before and always ended up disappointed, but this one keeps me feeling fresh all day, even after workouts. No irritation, no residue, no weird stickiness. The balm texture takes a second to get used to, but it actually feels nice once you get the hang of it—and I love that it’s in a metal tube. No plastic, no waste. I've been using the same tube for over two months now and there's still plenty left. Definitely worth the price for how long it lasts.Gender free, aluminum free, and it actually works? I'm a fan for life.

The best on the market!
The only deodorant that has ever worked! There is a learning curve, but if you keep it sealed well, and get a cheap metal "hair color" tube key to twist it up, it's fantastic. It's doesn't irritate skin, not greasy, doesn't ruin clothes although you might get white streaks which I'm willing to take for something that works so well!In over 40 years I haven't found anything besides MegaBabe Geo Deo that works for me, and Akt is superior. Both of them need to be rubbed in with hands btw. After thunder is a nice more masculine scent although I use it just fine. Halcion Summers smells really good, yummy and earthy. Definitely tomato vine! Appropriate for any gender. Orange Grove is my favorite though as it's really nice, not super sweet at all, and light enough to not interfere with perfumes I may wear. It also just works best for my skin chemistry. I haven't tried the other scents but I definitely will!

Stellar formula, faulty packaging
This is literally the best deodorant I’ve ever used. I got the unscented to try first and am stoked to try the scented versions. The lack of a thousand stars is purely for the packaging, which I’ll get to in a moment.I live in Texas and this stuff not only keeps me from physically sweating, there’s not even the faintest whisper of odor at the end of the day. I’ve tested it out in scenarios that my other deodorants would always fail, and it still succeeds. I always thoroughly wash my underarms before applying deodorant, and sometimes even use an AHA toner wipe prior to applying deodorant… and my other deodorants would still inevitably fail on some days or when wearing certain clothing. But this stuff, this I’ve applied to my armpits the next morning without showering or prepping (which is unheard of for me), just a schmear and out the door. And I’m still golden at the end of the day.I’ve worn it with the perma-stink tight shirt (you know the one: it’s fresh and thoroughly clean washed with enzyme cleaner, but it gets “activated” after it comes in contact with your body heat for a few hours), and I still smell fresh at the end of the day. I wore this while moving into a new home: nada. I was sweating a bit, but *zero* odor. My armpits were fresh. It’s wild. For reference: I typically use Necessaire roll-on (unscented or eucalyptus) or Kosas (all 3 versions). I liked both brands but they both made me physically sweat more, like profusely, more than if I wasn’t wearing deodorant (even if I allowed them to dry fully before getting dressed), and sometimes towards the end of the evening I’d have a little funk. Prior to that when Lume came out, I was all about it, but after they discontinued the jasmine scent that worked for my body, all of the other fragrances did not mix kindly with my body. And it was a potentently, unpleasant situation.I’ve tried them all as they say, the drugstore brands (dove, etc), natural brands (Tom’s, Native, etc), the boutique brands like (bumble & bee), the more luxe brands (Necessaire, Salt + Stone, etc), the subscription ones like Myro. Many homemade recipes, etc. Buy AKT is just a truly stellar formula.Minus stars for the packaging: the packaging in theory is perfect (all metal tube 🙌🏼 which is part of the reason for my purchase), however it’s super faulty. I used it three days in a row just fine, but on each subsequent day it became more difficult to squeeze anything out, until ultimately *nothing* came out. At least not from the mouth piece - it exploded out of the seam. Trying to contact the seller for a replacement. Hopefully it’s a fluke and not the norm, because this tuff is dreamy.

Overpriced
It works pretty well, but it doesn't come out of tube easily, is gritty and very overpriced. The tube is very small

Do not recommend
I was not able to find an ingredient list for this product in the Amazon listing so I went to the product website.Pros:1.Smells good2. Deodorizes all day (not 24 hours)Cons:1. The packaging is good in theory, but horrible in practice. Immediately upon folding over with the key, a tiny tear occured right near the crimp. There is now a leak at the very bottom of the tube. The material used for the tube is too delicate for this application.2. Main deoderizng ingredient is baking soda, which causes it to be gritty and irritating and gives it that "homemade" deodorant smell.3. Does not prevent perspiration at all. I immediately and consistently sweat right through this product.4. The diatomaceous earth used to help prevent moisture only causes more grit and irritation. One use for DE is as an insecticide because it has microscopic sharp edges that penetrate an insect's exoskeleton and cause the insect to dehydrate and die. The DE itself has little to do with the actual dehydration. It is a naturally occurring event related to disrupting the moisture barrier and allowing moisture to escape. The same sharp edges that can cut through keratin don't seem ideal to be rubbed into skin, especially the delicate areas that this product is made for. Conclusion:This product felt very abrasive during application. It left delicate areas irritated and uncomfortable. The seller uses a dramatic origin story to hype sell an inferior product. The product did not perform as promised. I am very disappointed. Returned.
