Marketing people are a problem. The first issue with this kit is that in the picture, the basic camera is taken out of its packaging, and all of its pieces are shown as if they are additions to the basic camera package Including the protective chunk of plastic that protects the hot shoe on the top of the camera (black thing under the USB cable in the picture). The second issue is that the charger shown is one that will charge two batteries at the same time, the one that arrived only has a single port for charging a battery, so it can only charge one battery at a time. If you pay close attention, you will notice that of the two batteries shown, only one of them is a sony brand battery, that is the one that comes in the camera box. The photo shows software in boxes, what you actually get is a photocopy of a sheet of paper with websites that you can download the software from, and a username and password to be able to access it. The only thing missing is the unidentified white rectangular thing with the purple "Decogear" label on it. Not that I care since I doubt there are any linux versions of this software, and I don't use windows or macs.I'm giving it 5 stars anyway because this package was exactly the same price as the camera back without anything else, so all of this extra stuff was basically free.The extras I cared about were the battery charger, the extra battery, and the memory cards, though 64GB is rather small.At the very least, this listing should have its picture updated to show what is actually in the bundle, (and remove that hot shoe plug, it is something you throw away as soon as you get the camera).Edit: The memory cards are next to useless, they are SDXC I, V30 cards, but the camera requires V60 for most video modes, and V90 for the highest resolution, so these memory cards are good for taking pictures (slowly), or updating the firmware.The USB cable is completely useless, it only contains the V+, GND, and D+ and D- wires. The camera would not charge using this cable. Using a known good USB C cable rated for 250W and 40GB/s, the camera charged the battery at a rate of 15W.This one I blame on Sony: The camera brings up a FUD message when you use the third party battery, trying to scare you into using only Sony batteries. The battery works fine, but you will get this stupid popup message every time you use the non-sony battery.I have not verified the charge rate yet, but it seemed to take forever to charge a battery using the bundled wall plug charger.
