Simply excellent!
I was so happy to receive this great tripod and it has been traveling around with me a lot. I love how the legs can unlock and extend with a simple twist of the foot. It also has a very smooth action on the ballhead to film nice smooth pans. It is tall enough to shoot phone videos, in fact, the mounting plate doubles as a phone mount. It's super light. I am very happy with this tripod.

My bad. I did find the phone holder thanks to their response. Feel stupid for not searching well before. Haven’t use it yet but feels good so far.Sorry

The lightest travel tripod out there
The media could not be loaded. I removed the ball head that comes with the tripod and replaced it with the Ulanzi U-80L ball head. This combination is the lightest tripod set up I have come across and here are the specifications of the combination:Weight: 1 lbs, 8.5 oz (696 grams)Folded length: 16 inches (40.6 cm)Folded diameter: 2.5 inches (6.4 cm)Full extended height: 58.5 inches (148.6 cm)The set up easily fits in the side of a backpack where a water bottle would go. It takes up minimal space in a travel suitcase. It is sturdy holding a Sony a7iv mirrorless DSLR camera with a 24-105 f4 lens. I am very pleased with this product.

best portable tripod I've used yet
I have never been a big fan of the travel tripods...because their attempts to lower the weight have always managed to make them less somehow. Finally, there is one that doesn't. To this point my favorite mini was more of a desktop as it didn't have any height to it...but it was really really well made and I trust it. But I could only get low from the ground shots, and it was starting to get a bit repetitive to watch. So...when I saw this one...all metal and carbon fiber...I thought we might have a real shot here.Now...I opened the box to find no owners manual of any kind, but a nice bag, a tripod, and a weird little attachment that I have absolutely no idea what it is for because there is no owners manual. So I don't really know if there just isn't one, and that's questionable at best at this price point, or if this was a return and the first customer forgot to put it back in...or what really. I just know that at this price...you better tell my why the pieces in there are in there, and give me something that tells me my money was well spent and guaranteed in some way. I have nothing here, and it doesn't give me confidence. That being said...using it, so far, has been pretty much a dream. I use a big video rig in my studio, so it took me a little bit to get used to the tiny video arm and action, but once you do, this is a really smooth little 360 head, and I really really appreciate having that stability and fluid movement on such a small tripod. The mechanism to extend the legs, first time I have seen this design, is admittedly super fast...a plus for capturing wildlife moments that move on quickly. But...it doesn't feel all that solid. Again, wish I had some kind of owners manual that reassured me that this expensive piece of equipment, far more expensive than any other I've tried in this space, is guaranteed in some way for some length of time...cuz I just don't trust that mechanism to last. But the rest of it is very well made, very light and transportable, and very very rugged given what it is. I expect this one to last longer than any other outdoor travel tripod I've tried...it has better fit and finish and that tends to speak to the overall quality of production. In the end, I've put my action camera rig on here to use filming life from the perspective of our adventure dog...and it is working so very well.

packed with features that are impossible to figure out.
So this is a great tripod, my only issue is that I had to look it up on YouTube to understand all of it's features. It includes no documentation on any of it's many unique features. And these aren't things that are intuitive or obvious. The other issue with this tripod is that it includes 2 different allen keys to access its different features. So it's a great tripod with awesome features that are impossible to figure out without looking them up and make sure you dont misplace the tools you will need to access these features. This is how a great product loses credibility and points simply because they couldnt include any documentation on how to access it's many features. 🙄

Fantastic tripod for traveling
I've been using this tripod for a few months now and although I was a little bit iffy about it at first, I definitely love it after getting used to a few quirks. To start, you won't find a lighter tripod that is this stable. It's incredibly well made and weighs almost nothing, which makes it perfect for putting in your backpack for a day trip. I actually don't like that the one tripod leg screws off to use as a monopod because more often than not when I'm collapsing the legs I accidentally unscrew that leg at the top. It's annoying. The other legs all function very smoothly and I like the twist to lock functionality. It extends to a nice height and it's easy to position your camera. I feel like the screw that locks in the horizontal twist on the head of this is poorly positioned as a frequently hit it when folding the tripod back up to put in my bag. Other than that you really can't go wrong and I love this tripod. Highly recommended!

solid, smooth, superb tripod and ball head
I recently picked up the Freewell Carbon Fiber Real Travel Tripod with 360° Ball Head for around $300. Although it’s a bit on the expensive side, it's worth every penny for what it delivers. The tripod is incredibly robust, perfect for high-end static photo shoots and capturing stunning astronomy pictures. Its lightweight design, made from aluminum and carbon fiber, makes it easy to carry around without compromising on durability. I was impressed with how sturdy it feels despite its light weight of just 900 grams.Setting up the tripod is a breeze with its ball head, and it holds my camera and smartphone securely. The maximum height of 150 centimeters is ideal for various shooting angles, and the minimum height of 16 centimeters allows for great flexibility. For anyone serious about photography, especially in static or astronomy settings, this tripod is a fantastic investment. An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

Super leichtes Reisestativ
Vielseitig einsetzbar. Sehr gut verarbeitet. Nur der Preis ist doch recht hoch. Trotzdem empfehlenswertes Stativ.
